We are a canadian Dark Rock band from Sherbrooke, Québec. With the power of metal, the subtlety of prog and the gloom of goth, we set out to map the uncharted road of our unique musical soundscape.

Unveil took its initial breath in 2004 when Alain decided to unearth material he had written for a previous project, a late 90's darkwave duo, named Vena Cava. His first step was to gather musicians. Good friends Pom (Drums) and Mr.Lee (Lead guitar at that time) quickly jumped on the band wagon. We rehearsed (and jammed) frequently with various bass players including our friend Greg, ex-member of Retalihate. But none of them seemed to capture the desired spirit.

Nevertheless, we recorded a few songs and signed-up for a MySpace account in 2006, where we got heads turning. Cyberspace also gave us the chance to meet-up with creators who brought their own visual spark to this shadow filled universe.

A world where darkness and beauty are soul mates.

Mr.Lee offers to take on bass duty for a while so we can get out and play. All it took was one magic rehearsal. From now on, Mr.Lee will play bass and Unveil is officially a three piece band. 2007 will finally bring in the first gigs. This is really where the band is at its best. This is what Unveil is all about. That same year, we released our first conceptual video thanks to a new partnership with Disturbed Squad.

We has no "official" release but we obviously have a promotional demo. Each individually hand-made CD, with full cover art, is available for radio stations, concert promoters, collaborators and a privileged group of die-hard fans. Could that be you..? These CDs include all the song from this MySpace page plus a special bonus : a cover version of the song A night like this by cult goth group The Cure.
