Hello there

Thanks for adding Bad Marmalade. We sent the request because you seem to be doing stuff for the writers - and that's what we're up to (amongst other things).

Perhaps we could be of assistance to each other in the future....

Thought I'd share with you some diseased words:

War Crimes

Gulag bed
With execution breath;
Stale with decay.
Guillotine divine;
AK47 sublime –
Her figure like
An assassination attempt.

Mass grave deprave,
Pervert savage;
Oh deflowered bunker!
Goose step for our revolution –
The final, orgasmic solution.

like the dog on it's impossible endeavour of chasing the stuffed rabbit around the track. always in sight, but never within grasp. round and round in circles - focused only on the illusion ahead, oblivious to common sense and the world around, until exhausted and weary the persuit is realised as being fruitless and tiresome. then, in the glare of the floodlights and with the sound of the cheering crowd filling the night sky, the dog finally sees that the rabbit was never within reach... it wasn't even real.

probably
passionately
pulsating beats

beat beat beat

and

dive
dive
dive

into the unfathomable
depths

oceansize...

keepin our heads
ever above the water

eyes fixed
ever on the horizon

too much lies ahead
to get tangled in nets
tangled arms and legs
tangled in sheets
morning after
tangled strings
tied to hearts

that

beat beat beat
too hard

drumming out
reason
logic

serves no purpose
in this season
of our lives

but living
requires
that you and i

listen to the deafening
pounding
thunderous
passionately
probably

beat beat beat...
as my oar hits the water
and i paddle out farther
than i can ever swim back...

oceansize
and alive
to keep it all safely tucked away
between my head & my heart.

What better way to impress that indie kid with the glasses and tattoos? Let them catch you reading a book.

DOLLHOUSE by Mike Boyle
