Well if I dont put something up here everyone will be mad at me. But anyone who knows me knows I rarely ever say I LIKE a band. I usually just like a song. The only "Band" worth any notice is ofcourse YESTERDAY"S NEWS. You should all check them out. Easily available right here through my top 8 myspace friends. After that I am the only living fan of Starship, Sinatra, Rusted Root, AND Poison. Hewey Lewis and the News really melts my butter too. Michael Jackson has always rocked and I still think he is too mentally handicapped to even know what child abuse is. I Love fist pumping eighties hero rock and alot of soundtrack songs. The only thing I dont particularly care for is "Angry" rock, Metal, Angry Rap, or anything too negative.
Greatest Soundtrack moment ever, also a fantastic "hero montage" song. Featured in 3 seperate major motion pictures produced up to 20 years apart. I hope some day to crown my opus with this song.

Thank you Chris for getting that up and running so everyone can enjoy it
Live at The Recher Theater, Band @ The Cliffside, Mallrats, Shawshank Redemption, Star Trek Nemesis, Serenity, Scrooged, Swingers, Empire Records, The Breakfast Club, Back the Future 1, 2, & 3, A League of Their Own, Star Trek 4: the Voyage Home (the one with the whales), You've got Mail, Joe vs. The Volcano, Galaxyquest, The Hunt for Red October, Pokemon 8: Destiny Deoxys (its was awesome hee hee), Howard the Duck (if you've never heard of it? Ask around, talking duck and a very young sexy Lea Thompson), Clerks, more I am sure....
Television
Star Trek and Star Trek byproducts. The Next Generation, Enterprise and Deep Space Nine are too good for me to too pick a favorite. Farscape, SG-1, And Firefly are the only other Sci-Fi shows I really like.
The only "Adult" shows I like are "The West Wing", "Survivorman", "NOVA", or any really engrossing educational programming. I like History and Science ones the most, and shows about things being built.
Otherwise I mostly watch alot of cartoons. Examples would be: Silver Hawks, Thundercats, Dragonball Z at one time, If anyone finds any copies in any format of "Spartacus and the Sun beneath the Sea" I want them! It played in the mid 80s on Nickelodeon I think. I LOVE watching Pokemon episodes. You got a problem with that? I also play the game obsessively, but thats for another section. "ALF" was hilarious, So was "Wings". Futurama is basically ALL about what would happen if I had one wish granted to me so ofcourse I love it.
Books
I only read things that are fun to me so that means in the last 5 years I have only read books in three series: Star Trek books ofcourse, they are quick and easy and like watching an episode but in your head. "The Wheel of Time" series written by Robert Jordan. It is a fantasy series that way surpasses "The Lord of the Rings" in writing, depth, character developement, political setting, textural details, you name it. Its 11 books long so far and still going and each book is a huge brick. And last but not least Star Wars novels, especially the Books of the New Jedi Order and afterwards, but also X-Wing series, Jedi Academy Trilogy, Hand of Thrawn and others. The depth of available characters, settings, situations, etc makes for a never ending story with great characters that have been writen about for years. The key element here is CONTINUOUS NEVER ENDING EPIC STORIES OF HEROISM AND ADVENTURE. Pretty much all I ask for in my entertainment, my life, and in how I want to go at the end.
Heroes
I have been thinking about this very hard and I have realized that the only people I admire are fictional. Which means that humanity is dissapointing me.
So all of you would be lucky to some day become half as great as either :
President Jeb Bartlett (The West Wing)
or
Captain Jean-Luc Picard (Star Trek TNG)
