Upon Shadows is Tamara..s project in collaboration with the following musician friends:
Marcelo Aguilar in guitar and vocals in demo 2003 (ex Thy Dominion / Requiem Aeternam).
Natalia Arocena in bass guitar (ex Sigma Sentinel /Alsirat/ Asgard).
Tamara started playing keys 14 years ago in Eclampsy, one of the biggest death metal bands of her country where she played for seven years; and started the Upon Shadows project in the middles of 2002, trying to find a new way for her music.
Upon Shadows music style could be inside of Dark Metal, full of keyboards and atmospheric parts. A few month of being formed as a trio, Upon Shadows started to record their first work which was mixed and mastering by them self. They also made the design and the edition, obtaining a very personal work. In this CD we can find 14 tracks (about 45 min.) with a big range of keyboard effects giving the most soft and melancholic melodies to the hard weight of guitars, bass and vocals. The atmosphere of both music and lyrics have a conceptual thematic. It’s a CD that talks to us about magic and myths.
In 2009 Upon Shadows is back after a long period of transitions, with new material and some changes. This time the voices are by Tamara.
The new material is called “The Huge Circle Of Time” and some of the songs can be listening here. The rest will be uploading soon.

Upon Shadows es un proyecto de Tamara en colaboración con los siguientes músicos amigos:
Marcelo Aguilar en guitarra y voces en el demo 2003 (ex Thy Dominion / Requiem Aeternam).

Tamara comenzó a tocar el teclado hace 14 años atrás en Eclampsy, una de las más grandes bandas de death metal de su país, donde tocó durante siete años; y comenzó con el proyecto Upon Shadows a mediados del 2002, tratando de encontrar un nuevo camino para su música.
El estilo de música de Upon Shadows podría decirse que se encuentra dentro del Dark Metal, lleno de teclados y partes atmosféricas. A pocos meses de haberse formado como trío, Upon Shadows ya comenzaba a grabar lo que sería su primer demo, el cual fue mezclado y masterizado por ellos mismos logrando así un demo muy personal. En el cual podemos encontrar 14 temas (aprox. 45 min.), que se caracterizan por tener una amplia gama de efectos de sintetizadores, encargados de otorgar las melodías más suaves y melancólicas a la pesada carga de guitarras, bajo y voz. Cuya ambientación al igual que sus letras tiene una temática conceptual. Es un demo que nos habla de magia, mitos y leyendas.
En 2009 Upon Shadows está devuelta después de un largo periodo de transición, con nuevo materia y algunos cambios. Esta vez las voces están a cargo de Tamara.
El nuevo material se llama “The Huge Circle Of Time” (“El Gran Circulo del Tiempo”) y algunas de las nuevas canciones pueden ser escuchadas aquí. El resto será subido dentro de poco.
