Uprise is bassist, producer and budding DJ Paul Knight alongside drummer Daniel McBrearity. Their live show is truly unique unto its own, combining the look and feel of a DJ show with the vibes and aesthetics of a live band. Ballistic live drumming so tight you were looking for a plug in the drummer's back, mixed with heavily synthesized bass guitar that would make a laptop shiver in it's casing. Take that solid foundation and add some icing: melodic synth leads, skankin dub-style key's and samples from across the world, creating a sound yet to be created by anyone else. A quick listen and one can see the beats and vibes coming from Uprise are to be paralleled with the best of electronic dub.
