What you get when you mix pop and rock with Irish/Finnish/Scandinavian folk music? That's UPS. With wide variety of different instruments this band can create unique and fresh sound that still sounds familiar, but cannot really be compared to any other band.
UPS was formed in 2004 with group of friends. After one year we recorded demo "Musta tuntuu" with 3 songs. In 2007 was released full-length album "Tässä". In spring 2008 line-up changed a little bit. Henkka was too busy with other projects, so Mikael changed guitar to bass. Missing Henkka's double bass, the sound of the band also changed and is now more rock influenced.
Joo, näin on. Ei tullut mitaleita eikä kunniamainintaa... mutta mukaviin tyyppeihin pääsi tutustumaan ja hyvää pitsaakin sai viereisestä pizzeriasta :)
