People want to get down. We need to do more than just let them get down. We need to get them gettin' down. They BETTER get down. We will force them to either get down or succumb to our mind powers. Yes, our mind powers, we will cause so much getting down that the people will have to buy prozac as a countermeasure. Or at least chew through their restraints. Wait, not that down. The other down. You know, the kind that keeps you warm in winter. What? Oh... Just listen to the music, and come back when you're done.
As you can see, once they stopped thinking, funkiness consistently ensued. Drizzled with lyrical ineptitude, no wait, lyrically intrinsic multitudes, no wait, intrinsically multitudinal lyricism, no wait, thought-provoking lyrics, the UGC brand fonk (as the kids say) is sure to sassissafy (as David Lee Roth says).
UGC is, basically, an 80's glam rock band without the hairspray, tights, double-neck guitars, nasty air-banged groupies, bad music, screeching vocals, Ronnie James Dio, or tapping guitar solos, well maybe there are still some tapping guitar solos, but there definitely aren't any tights. OK, maybe this started off on the wrong foot. They are not an 80's glam rock band. But if you love Dio, feel free to go ahead and throw up the horns right now.
THEY ARE THE ANSWER>
They are an oasis station of amalgamation in a musical desert that is thirsty for funk, rock, latin, and R&B... And maybe a little jazz, but not light jazz, good jazz, and some other lesser-known genres whom UGC feels it is inappropriate to name at this time. Please refer to the Mythology of the Mudshark for more information.

"Just a THANK YOU. In October, 2002, I was without a band. A loner. I found Upside Groove Coalition's ad, and within two weeks, we were in the studio recording our first album together. Now, I sing in the band and we are still together. Milwaukee rocks dot com is so big and cool, if it were in Germany, it would constantly be mistaken for David Hasselhoff." -Sean (April 2007)
