Upstate Trio is a funk rock jam band comprised of bassist Justin Alric, drummer Matt Veeder and Jay Waylett on guitar. Formed in Upstate New York in 2003 the band relocated to Eugene in 2008. The Trio is known for fun funky original music and quirky rocking cover tunes. As they blasted their way through college at SUNY Oswego they gained a reputation for putting on a great show with songs styles including bluegrass, rock, techno, jazz, reggae, and funk. They are looking forward to spreading their sound all over the Great Northwest.
