The UpTake is a media organization dedicated to advancing democracy through citizen journalism.

We want your help framing American political discussion -- by making you the journalists, and demanding accountability from America's political leaders.

We will be:

- Developing a corps of trained citizen videojournalists
- Publishing the work of our journalists with speed and integrity.
- Creating a first-of-its-kind editorial calendar to enable our user community to drive event and other story coverage
