Uptight Sugar started with a conversation between singer/songwriter David Hamilton, and Manager John Malm Jr. It wasn't long after that David began doing live performances as a solo artist under the new name. After a successful string of shows, they decided to unleash Uptight Sugar as a full band, adding drummer (Tito Pablo), and the dynamic duo of lead guitarist (Bob Awesome), and bassist (Willie Fignog)!
Using piles of effects boxes, and a wide range of musical influences, the group has been reaching for a totally unique sound! Uptight Sugar has evolved into a psychedelic/pop rock hybrid with a blues twist, and they show no signs of stopping! With each new song they raise the bar just a bit higher!
Uptight Sugar is on a celestial quest to find the true music lovers of the world, and they would like to welcome all into the congregation....
