Started playing in 1989. After many successful seasons playing standard repertoire began to commission new works by living composers. In 2003 one of the Trio's own members began composing in earnest and the results have brought the three to Carnegie Hall. Their cross-disciplinary educational programs have been hailed as a national model for other chamber groups to follow.
