JDP's success began while still attending Columbia College Chicago. In 2006 JDP formed Flyy City Media Group with partner Jay Torres, and found success performing with major recording acts such as Rich Boy, Shawnna, Cap-1, GLC, Yung Joc & HotStylez, The Cool Kids and Gemini.
With influences from Jay-Z, Lupe Fiasco, The Cool Kids and Kanye West, this new era MC, released his first solo project entitled The Elevation EP, currently available on iTunes.
This time around JDP is working on his 2nd mixtape, Air Raid which will be released this summer. The mixtape will serve as the "official" introduction to who JDP is and his music. So stay tuned because for JDP & the rest of Flyy City, the sky is the limit.....
