Old School Heavy Metal inspired and influenced primarily by the early 80s late 70s NWOBHM movement. Released a six song demo in 2003 that included a cover of Witchfinder Generals "Burning A Sinner". Three full length CDs have been issued, the self titled debut 2005, "Sadly Never Fore" 2006 and third full length CD "From Genesis to Apocalypse and Beyond" . 2 unreleased songs appear on the "Unleashed from the Northeast" compilation. An unreleased song from the original 2003 demo appears on the "Knock ’em down to size" 7" compilation from Metal Coven Records with Reverend Bizarre, Tortured Spirit, Solstice, Spiritus Mortis and Griftegard. Members also appear on the Angel Witch tribute CD released by Unbroken Metal in Germany performing the song "Straight From Hell" in a one time only appearance as "Lucifers Son" in a collaboration with members of Vestal Claret and Liege Lord. x-Upwards of Endtime guitarist Bill Ladley appeared with Phil Swanson in the band Earthlord on 3 song recording yet to be officially released. Phil Swanson currently fronts the doom rock band Seamount as well as occult metal bands Hour of 13 and Vestal Claret and has appeared with the German epic metal band Atlantean Kodex on the Vestal Claret / Atlantean Kodex split on Metal Coven Records and the "New Age of Iron" compilation from New Iron Age Records.
I am completely devastated by this absolute tragedy, the METAL/Music community has lost yet another alltime great! Even though I didn't know MIDNIGHT (real name: John Patrick McDonald Jr.) personally... his voice and music has touched my soul and brought me through many a dark time in my own life! He will be missed dearly, and never be forgotten! MIDNIGHT will forever live on in all of our hearts and minds through his amazing voice! May his soul R.I.P.!
