    The U.P. Web Maestro - www.upwebmaestro.com

We're all about providing websites for small businesses. We're kind of the MacGyver of web design - we're the happiest when we're trying to make technology do something new to solve someone's business goals. Yes, we're geeks, but that's part of the job description.
  • Music

Just about everything except Country. (Though some old Country is alright. As long as it doesn't twang too much.)
  • Movies

Science fiction, comic remakes, the normal geek stuff.

About me:

The U.P. Web Maestro grew out of Nathan's freelance work creating websites while still a student at Northern Michigan University. His first job creating a site was the result of being known as "that computer guy" by someone in an office at NMU that needed a site. From that project on, Nathan learned the value of word-of-mouth advertising, and has gone on to play a large role in remaking the area's virtual community. In December of 2001, Nathan graduated from NMU and started focusing full time on Web design. Though he'd been creating websites since 1996, this was when "The U.P. Web Maestro" went from part-time student work to a full time business. Initially working from his home, Nathan joined forces in 2006 with Company B Graphic Design and moved into office space on Rublein Street in Marquette. One year later, more space was needed by both companies and so the move was made to their current larger location across town, in Chippewa Square. During 2006, Julie took over the accounting and invoicing end of the business (allowing Nathan to breathe a sigh of relief) and in January of 2008 Kenric joined the team bringing a fresh infusion of design perspective.
