Monty Jr. takes the stage he engages the audience and plays the moment with a barrage of one liners establishing himself quickly as a comic to be reckoned with, coupled with a strong’ yet likable stage presents. his unique brand of reality based humor story telling and Brilliant observations well have you busting a gut and laughing until it hurts, not to mention his dead on impressions of Judge Joe Brown, Bill Cosby’ Redd Foxx, Morgan Freeman and others so brace your self and get ready for a fantastic ride. L.C. was conceived in St. Louis Mo. born and raised in Los Angeles Calif. where he started doing comedy in the early 80’s at local talent shows performing in Blues and jazz clubs as an opening act and playing band and D.J brakes. Looking back he really appreciates these early beginnings because this is where he developed a thick skin and a fearless attitude. After four years of playing some of the toughest rooms in South Los Angeles he headed to the World famous Comedy Store in Hollywood where He performed frequently and shared the stage with some of the Nations top comedians such as Damon Wayans, Tommy Davidson, Howe Mendel, Charles Flasher, the legandary Paul Moony and many more. he was later given the opportunity to open for L.A’s number one improv group "MICE" at the world famous Laugh Factory where the club Owner caught His act and immediately put L.C on the clubs regular list. He was also the winner of LA’s funnies Man in the Valley competition and was the first comedian to head line L.A..s latest hit Comedy Club the HA- HA Cafe. he all so set a record hosting his own weekly Thursday night Comedy Showcase at the historical Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood boulevard for two years straight. Having this back grown explains L.C’s broad appeal and his natural ability to relate to any audience. He also took time out to study creative writing at the University of Southern California and has added three screen plays to his credit. L.C. is currently based in St, Louis Mo. with plans to hit the Mid West by storm.

Well I love doing Stand up Comedy IT'S MY FIRST LOVE, strumming my guitar relaxes me, doing stand up comedy allows me to vent and to get things off my chest, what ever bothers me in life becomes comedy, from my lazy ass mail man... to my neighbor who always leaves the gate open that surrounds our four family flat but when he walks inside of his own apartment he closes and locks the door behind him..to me that's like telling a burglar I don't want you braking into my house, but feel free to walk into the yard and find another way in...
