About Uranium Savages

The Uranium Savages were thrust upon Texas and the rest of the world on Dec. 12th, 1974 in their first public appearance in Jim Franklin's (JFKLN) Ritz Theater on 6th St. in Austin, Texas. That was the day Austin became weird. The Savages have been responsible for such Austin antics as 709:International EDDY Day, Spamarama, the EDDY Awards as well as contributers to Esther's Follies, the Velveeta Room and Soap Creek Saloon.
