Gli Uranium235 nascono a Catanzaro( Sud Italia) nel 2005 dall’amicizia di tre musicisti calabresi, Francesco (già attivo in band rock e blues locali e successivamente presente nel cd degli A BURIED EXISTENCE nella registrazione dei guitar solos), Antonio (ex NO CORRUPTION, ex MEAT FOR DOGS), e Marko (LAND OF HATE, A BURIED EXISTENCE, ex NO CORRUPTION) i quali suonavano in altre band, ma periodicamente si riunivano in sala prove senza nessun particolare obbiettivo, spinti dalla voglia di dare sfogo alla propria immaginazione e creatività e dalla passione per l'estremismo sonoro. Nel settembre 2006, entra nella band Ciccio (ex SKIZOFRENIA)e la formazione è ora al completo. La caratteristica prevalente del gruppo, che ha contribuito alla formulazione del nome, è sicuramente l’instabilità di fondo che alberga in ciascuno dei musicisti, ognuno dei quali aventi molteplici e differenti influenze musicali. Nel 2007 gli Uranium235 registrano il loro primo lavoro intitolato "Veil of Onion". Nel demo sono presenti le più disparate influenze che vanno dal thrash metal all’hard rock e,inoltre, il cantato si alterna tra scream e parti in clean. Le tematiche trattate nei testi sono rivolte al sociale e all'opposizione nei confronti del sistema. VEIL OF ONION riceve discreti consensi dagli addetti al settore e la canzone”TRAPPED EYES" entra a far parte di alcune compilation italiane.
Nel corso del 2007 ha così inizio l'attività live della band che porta il gruppo a partecipare ad alcuni raduni metal e a suonare di supporto a band come SCHIZO,GLACIAL FEAR,ARCADIA,ZORA.
Sempre nel corso dello stesso anno inizia la stesura dei brani che successivamente faranno parte del full lenght della band. Nel 2009 vede la luce "Introspective trip", registrato ancora una volta presso i soundfarm studio di catanzaro.
INTROSPECTIVE TRIP si discosta dalle influenze del primo demo in quanto il genere proposto è un thrash metal più estremo che non risente più delle influenze stoner e hard rock presenti in VEIL OF ONION.
Le tematiche trattate vomitano rabbia ancora una volta nei confronti del sistema sociale ma non mancano episodi più intimisti e personali.
Il cd ottiene buoni consensi dagli addetti al settore e
uno dei brani presenti nell'album," Repulsion For The Present " ,entra a far parte di disparate compilation distribuite in Italia e all'estero e viene trasmessa da alune stazioni radio estreme in America.
Nel 2009 la band si accorda con la Gate Of Horror prods:(Perù) per la stampa e distribuzione di Introspective Trip.
Sempre nel 2009 scatta l'accordo tra Uranium e l'Asiatica BVT Records per la stampa e la distribuzione del cd.
Ha così inizio la serie di date promozionali del nuovo disco che portano la band a partecipare ad alcuni fest estremi del sud Italia e a condividere il palco con band rinomate nell'underground italiano come gli STORMLORD.

Uranium 235 are born in Catanzaro(South Of Italy) in the 2005,from the friendship of three Calabrian musicians,Francesco(already active in the scene,with local rock and blues bands,and also in the A BURIED EXISTENCE’s CD,during the recording of guitar solos),Antonio(ex NO CORRUPTION ,ex MEAT FOR DOGS),and Marko(LAND OF HATE,A BURIED EXISTENCE,ex NO CORRUPTION),where they use to play in different bands but quiete often they were meeting in the test studio“Old House”,without any particular objective,pushed from their feelings to vent out their imagination and creativity and from the the passion of the extreme music sound.

which contributed to the formulation of the name,is certainly the instability present in each musician and the different musical influences.This constant is reflecting also in their compositions.
In the 2007,Uranium 235 are recording their first work,called “Veil of Onion”. A demo that have the most different influences ranging from trash metal to hard rock with vocal that change from the scream to clean parts.

During the 2007 is the beginning of the live performances of the band,that bring the musicians to join few metal meeting and to play as a support band of SCHIZO,GLACIAL FEAR,ARCADIA AND ZORA.Still during this year,is also starting the drafting of the tracks that are gonna take part of the full length.Into the 2009 “introspective trip” see the light,is the new full length of the band,recorded again at soundfarm studio in Catanzaro.
Introspective trip doesn’t have the influences of the first demo, the kind proposed is a more extreme thrash metal with no more with no more stoner or hard rock influences,as in VEIL OF ONION.
