--------------------------------------------------

I am a published poet and fiction writer with a BA Joint Honours Degree in Drama and English from the University of Wales, Aberystwyth. I am working on several literary projects including at least 3 novels, a collection of poetry, and a myriad short stories.

The birth of my baby daughter in 2006 has slowed my output, but now, I am successfully navigating my way around the challenges of being a new parent and the rewards are more than worth the hard work...

My writing is a sharp observation of life, holding up a mirror to the world in which we live (the beauty and the ugliness of it) as well as an emotional communication with the more natural nuances of existence.

The tools of my trade are MS Word, a dog-eared copy of the Oxford Pocket Thesaurus, a battered and bruised Collins Dictionary and Thesaurus, a rather shabby-looking Oxford Dictionary and a crispy brand new Roget’s Thesaurus which I have not long acquired.
An extensive library and a few years of life experiences are also at hand to assist me in my endeavours.

I like to write my first drafts longhand - I have more notebooks than I care to count, but I do have neat handwriting, if that's any consolation - and then transcribe to my machine, completing successive drafts on-screen.

My poetry usually goes through at least 10 drafts.

Dear Alien,

Thank you for your comment.

In case you weren't aware, I'm trying to find like minded people who like good music cause mainstream radio doth suck. I hate hyper happy radio hosts, insipid chat and playlists backed by record companies filled with krappy bands beginning with the letter K! So I've made the show I always wanted to hear on the radio! So I'd like to invite you to check it out if you haven't already.

New Ola's Kool Kitchen podcast available at

http://www.
radionowhere. org/Podcast. htm
and at

iTunes

It's a nice ice breaker and I think you will enjoy it. All feedback is appreciated!

I have now, sorry, I couldn't help it earlier...it just frustrates me how they have turned like this.
Really horrible, I can't beleive it.
For what it is...it's blown way out of proportion!
I don't want them to be laughing at the end of it, I don't want to walk away with a dismissal when I've not earned one.
lol

Anyway,
Hope you're having a good weekend

oooo wah!

well, he is the leader of the x-men...and sadly he is not very popular amongst x-fans, but i think he is misunderstood. he is in love with, and married to, Jean Grey (my result on the quiz, incidentally)...but she is clearly in love with Logan (Wolverine)...well depending on which story you read of course.

But Cyc has a heart of gold and is truly dependable, and what many people fail to see is that he always puts the team first, although it may look as though he is just being pig-headed.

But he can shoot lasers from his eyes...hello! it doesn't get much cooler than that.

Kind night... or mornings;) Forgive for my English, I write by means of translate. ru, it is very a shame, but I shall study. Thanks for virtual friendship! I hope for the beginning and continuation of dialogue. Sat with a glass of wine and listened to music in yours profile... beautifully! My window is opened, the wind has brought smells of a jasmin and a lilac, yes-yes, at us the jasmin blossoms in the beginning of July. Aroma of the white nights and gentle music what can be better? ;) Thanks.
