About me: The focus of Urban Latino is the Latino experience in this country, viewing all sides of our story. Our writers and contributors are individuals who have lived and experienced this diverse culture. Through their essays, columns, illustrations, and photos, we showcase the achievements of our community.
"If we as a nation are ever going to achieve that status of true greatness, then we must be courageous enough to deal with matters pertaining to race and racism, without seeking the artificial cloak of denial as some sort of safe haven."
