What are we looking for?

We are looking for the 10 HOTTEST artists in Los Angeles. This event is for acts that are label ready. So if you've only performed 2 shows and don't have much experience, this event is not for you. We are looking for established artists that have a great look, sound (radio-ready and professional), draw, and of course, a good attitude.

How to audition:

First contact Brad white by sending a message through this Myspace.

Brad will schedule a time for you to come in and audition. When you come in, you must bring a press packet. A press packet, for those of you who do not know, includes your music on CD, printed press, photos, bio and contact info. Since we audition so many bands and artists within the day, we will audition you by CD in person. The audition will last only 15 min. We ask that all band members attend so we can discuss all the minor details of the showcase and everyone can be involved as much as possible.

Is it hard to get in?

This event is highly competitive and not all bands are chosen, but after the audition, a representative for the A&R Connections will contact you within a week and let you know your status for the showcase. Only 10 bands and artists are chosen.

Where is the audition?

Ongoing through the end of July, in Hollywood at our Offices!

When and where will the showcase be held?

Aug. 22nd @ the Key Club in Hollywood

What happens if we are chosen?

If you are chosen for this event, you can showcase your hits for the top exec's over at Def Jam Records/Universal Records, and have the opportunity for a demo deal. ....
