Acoustic ska/funk with violin. I know it may seem a bit of a weird combination, but it's what it is. Later on, (i.e. next year, hopefully), we'll be more electric as I'm hoping to get a Gibson/Epiphone or Gretsch archtop. But for now, we have this weird mix of an acoustic guitar with some cool violin parts and electronic beats, all playing funky ska, with a little folky feel here and there, and sometimes a bluesy/rock influence.
Vraiment, c'est un melange bizarre d'une guitare acoustique et un violon jouant du ska et du funk par dessus des rythmes electroniques. Parfois avec une touche folk, et parfois avec une touche blues/rock.

| About Urban Campagne |

Urban Campagne, the Urban Country, is more than the name of this band. It is a statement on the catastrophe that is befalling the rural areas of our countries. We try to talk a lot about this in our music - not only environmental problems, but political problems and societal problems as well. We like to make music as entertainment for others, but we also like to have a little background message to get everyone thinking a little more about what is going on today.
We are currently recording our first songs, "Cours d'un Message" and "Rappensee". We hope to have them finished in a little less than a month. We can't promise anything but at least we're working hard and trying to make it sound as good as we can.
We're working on an independent site, but please be patient on that one (we might have it up by the start of next year). Cheers!
Urban Campagne, ou la Campagne Urbaine, c'est plus que le nom de ce groupe. C'est une declaration sur la catastrophe qui est en train de detruire nos campagnes. On essaye de parler de ca dans notre musique - pas que des probleme environmentaux, mais aussi des problemes politiques et des problemes de notre societe. On aime bien faire de la musique en se marrant et pour l'amusemant des autres, mais on veux aussi avoir un petit message derriere tout ca pour que tout le monde pense un petit peu plus a ce qui ce passe aujourd'hui.
Nous sommes en ce moment en train d'enregistrer nos premieres chansons, "Cours d'un Message" et "Rappensee". On ne garantie rien mais on travaille dur pour avoir fair le mieux possible.
Nous travaillons sur un site independent, mais restez un peu plus patient sur celui la (nous l'auront peut-etre au debut de l'annee prochaine). A plus!
