What is Urban Campfires? Urban Campfires is the next best thing to having live music in your own living room. It’s a monthly acoustic concert series featuring the finest singer/songwriters from around the world performing in the cozy Lions Field facility at the corner of Mulberry and Broadway in Brackenridge Park.
Urban Campfires is a wonderful way to enjoy live music without the hassles of going to a club. Music starts at 7 and between sets we enjoy a potluck dinner. Tell the sitter you’ll be home by 10:30 or use Urban Campfires to kick off an evening of fun.
Attendance is limited to 100 people so reservations are highly recommended (but not necessary.) Bring a potluck dish or dessert to share and join us for an evening of great entertainment and community.

Glad to see the Urban Campfires buring! The big city is, well, the big city. I think I might have forgotten how to drive a car. Please give a hearty hello
to all my sweet texas friends. Wishing you all the best and looking forward to the day our paths cross once again.
Hey hey- I'll be home bound for the next while I'm thinking second half of the year next year will open up for much adventure- the Reddy Set are ready for anything! Oh I miss the Star bar with all it's Margaritary delights
Thank you for setting me up so sweetly at Kerrville, and for creating yet another venue that is so cool! Kamp Sweetness And Light is just that, thanks to Janet Hans, and all the others that kick it up at notch there! Always a pleasure, m'am! I was on KUHF Houston NPR today with BOB STEVENSON because of the show at your camp!! You were talked about with love xoxoxo
Janet, Thank you for your comment - it sure feels like home.
Get your people to call my people, and we'll drop by Sweetness and Light and share some shade and a song or two - only kidding! Would love to sit in and sing a few. :O) Thanks
I am shameless, if not a hussy. But you should know that James Taylor, Steve Forbert and Ellis Paul also had nice things to say about my critically acclaimed CD, Simpler Times A-Wastin, which one can easily purchase on cdbaby. com for a mere ten bucks. Shameless, indeed!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you too, Janet! We were just speaking fondly of you while playing at Harris Creek and hanging out with Kelly last weekend. Hope to be coming your way soon after the New Year- we'll be in touch.. Peace, KC
