Our development corporation, Urban Core Development, S.A., is focused on the creation of boutique, sustainable housing projects in and around Panama City. Urban Core Development has designed and will be building some of Panama's most unique products to date. Urban Vista is a luxury mid-rise building in the heart of Panama City, and is also the first LEED registered project in the country. Urban Vista represents a landmark of sustainability in Panama City, a rapidly growing, cosmopolitan community. Urban Rio, Panama's first residential container home complex, will include the first green roof in any workforce neighborhood in the country.
Our manufactured housing division, ecotainers, S.A., brings the company's core values to a wider range of clients. The ecotainers motto, Green Contained, expresses a desire to perfectly balance affordability and sustainable housing in a way never before achieved. Through it's unique and flexible approach to prefabrication, ecotainers has the ability to bring green building to all types of residents, from tightly budgeted government projects to more lavish eco-resorts.
The Letter Green, S.A., our educational division, produces a quarterly bilingual publication, titled The Letter Green, and is dedicated to increasing education through sustainability journalism. The Letter Green highlights a spectrum of green news with a focus on Latin America, including building news, nonprofit organizations, and interviews with innovative businesses and entrepreneurs. With thousands of copies in circulation every quarter, as well as a online blog, The Letter Green fosters awareness and knowledge of green life across both North, Central and South America.
