After several years of working in electronic music field as DJ, organisator, promotor and being unhappy with the position of female DJ-anes she started to think every day moore about doing moore promotion and events with also unestablished girls/female DJ's
The idea itself became allive a few years ago when she began to work in booking and organisation field (some of the events: Ladies Update @ Lipa 2003, Bodywork@Pekarna Slovenia 2005, Ladies Snatch @ K4 2005, City of woman festival Chanell 0 2005, Woman Attack @ Mediapark 2006, Grrrlzzz power@Super Li Slovenia 2007) Al this experience leeds her to search the DJ-ane market moore and moore
Slovenian DJ House Wife and longstanding collegue joines as a first member Urban Divas. Through her life connections Trick-C. expanded her work also to Croatia where she was acting from the beginning of her DJ carrier.
In this project are also 2 young talented girls: Miss Soulfly and Kexie, both from Croatia.
Some of the Urban Divas nights took in 2007 place in Croatia. In Zagreb, two night caffes (Masters,Fanatic) and in Vinkovci, where a bounge of young talents of the organisation TEKKNOMAFIA UNITECH invited our Divas to play @ very known Kollektiv (Trick-C.&House Wife) and the official electronic music event of Vinkovacke jeseni (Oldis Goldis Backward/Trick-C.)
Most of the UD projects where organised in Slovenia (Urban Divas pioneers@Cvetlicarna, UD@Chanell 0 with guests- monthly residencie (capitol town Ljubljana) and UD nights@Trust (Maribor). During the work on production in 08 the monthly resiedencies where put on hold, the organisation focused on bigger location and events...Lately Urban Divas succesfully branded this trademark on Trick-C.'s birthday event@Cvetlicarna in february 08 and in march 08- UD ladies night@Fun Factory, one of most popular and TOP 3 clubbing locations in Slovenia
Music from house, electro, electro-pop, break, tech house to techno minimal are the main ingrediants of the menu that the sovereign divas can offer
Choice of music of our girlsis carefuly picked according to the club guests to create a warm, fuzzy and positive atmosphere in which urban people can escape from a hard day and relax in a good company and ambient.
Our Divas are experienced, self-confident and dynamic artists who play music from their hearts and in the same time are putting an everyday woman in a special place within the electronic scene.
