From James Brown to Jamiroquai, this funk collective has been influenced by the greats. Hailing from both coasts and several stops in between, they rise up with a fresh, tight sound. Opening for such legends as "Cool and the Gang", "Jully Black" and "Antibalas" and closing for Canadian greats such as "Great Big Sea," makes them a show to not be missed. Hitting up festivals such as Calgary FolkFest, C-Jazz Fest, Medicine Hat Jazz Fest, Afrikadey, Lilac Fest, WinterFest Banff, and FernieFest hasn't stopped them from makin' waves on the Western Canadian club Scene as well. This band provides cool takes on the great funk standards as well as new offerings of original tunes. Hard working and driven, these individuals are taking it to the top, making priority number one... the funk.
