  • Bio

In the spring of 2005, along with the birds and the flowers, a new zine was born. Based on an old punk idea of taking the media into our own hands, and with the help of the cheap and friendly folks over at Linco Printing, acoustic music reared it's thoughtful head and asked New York if it would like to hear a song. Now tired commuters and bored folks on toilets throughout the city are delighted every other month with stories of the bohemians, bums, and poet troubadors out there trying to explain the universe or at least entertain it for awhile. The choice for honest and independant music has never been so black and white.....Available in print at cafes, campuses, and transit stations across the city..... Back issue pdf's available at ..urbanfolk.org......Right click/option click on the cover to download the pdf of the latest issue!..........
