    Urban Gypsies are an instrumental guitar duo. They also are available with drums ( cajon) bass and violin. We play original jazz latin contemporary and funky instrumental music with an edge. Urban Gypsies represents an exciting direction in fusion and funky grooves mixed with world music influences.The band have been performing for 8 yrs playing at numerous festivals and clubs. The Urban Gypsies comprise of Gavin Libotte (guitar), Dieter Kleemann (guitar), Anatoli Torjinski ( cello ), and Stuart Henderson ( Percussion ). They offer a beautiful mix of fusion guitar compositions from the jazz tradition of improvisation and the rhythmic palette of gypsy, latin and world music. The creative writing skills and innovative sounds of the Urban Gypsies set them in a class of their own. Inspired by John Mclaughlin, Pat Metheny, Sylvain Luc and many more guitar greats, let the Urban Gypsies take you on a unique and imaginative musical journey that you'll wish would never end.
