About me: Urban Music Awards - The NO. 1 premiere Urban and Dance Music awards ceremony in the world. The Urban Music awards ceremony was launched in the UK, France, Germany, Amsterdam with plans to expand to Asia, US and Africa.

From its inception all nominations and voting have been left for YOU, the public to decide. In 4 years, the prestigious awards ceremony has been covered by :%D%AThe BBC World Service, BBC Radio 1, BBC Entertainment Online, Invincible TV, Evening Standard, The Metro Newspaper , The Independent, The Guardian , Channel 4, CD:UK , London Tonight , Choice fm , New Nation, The Voice, and many more.
Jordan Kensington, CEO and Founder of Urban Music Awards said: “The growth of Urban Music Awards since we launched the show in 2003 has been incredible, and for 2005 we crossed into the backstage sector of the urban industry that usually remains unrecognized. We introduced three new categories this year, Best Website, Best Entrepreneur and Best Magazine. For 2006, we are pleased to announce that we have signed a deal with Invincible TV , Sky Channel 368 and we’ll be having 46 build up TV shows broadcast prior to the awards ceremony. This years awards ceremony would be broadcast on The Musicians Channel, Inivncible TV(Ghana) , Invincible TV (Barbados) and Invincible TV(Jamaica) . The awards ceremony will also be the first all British based awards ceremony to be syndicated to 22 International TV networks gaining us an estimated audience of 15.4 million viewers”.
More… To support this year’s show UMA will launch the 5th annual magazine of The Urban Music Awards with 65,000 copies to be distributed to local record shops, record labels, and TV, Radio and media agencies.
