Urban Rebel first started when Judy Arostegui (drums) and Latzi Piringer (bass) were playing together in a local indie band in 2007. Proving opposites attract, Latzi's infectiously groovy and funky bass was a perfect match for Judy's metal-influenced trick-heavy pocket drumming. With a shared vision of a fresh style, they broke off to start their own project in early 2008. It was then that they got together with Will Gonzalez (vocals) through local music ads. Will's perfect blend of powerhouse rock and sexy soul singing became the voice of Urban Rebel.
Urban Rebel is currently recording their first album with Miguel Gonzalez (producer) who has played with Brian Howe from Bad Company and produced several up and coming South Florida projects.

" Perfect!
Screaming is a pretty exciting way to open any song. You have a great sense of appropriate dynamic contrast. This song manages to be edgy without being at all annoying or superfluous. Everything feels very authentic. This band clearly has it figured out. Great lyrics, great vocals, excellent drumming, groovy guitar, and a jammin bass line make this the best song I've heard today." /hubrispenguins12 from St. Louis, Missouri/
