Has-Beens lineup for reality TV shows so they can pay the bills, hip acts release their new material for 'free', kids are learning to play music literally like a video game, and there's more financial incentive to make hip-hop ringtones than rock albums. When asked about the situation, several legendary rock figureheads have been quoted in saying "I wouldn't want to be a band just starting out right now." We're fucked. We're all fucked. We're all gonna be a generation of waiters, accountants, and fucking human resource stooges. If you understand that, then you understand U.S.A.D. - We're popping bottles of champagne open, waiting for that H-Bomb we were promised 40 years ago. It couldn't get here soon enough.
