   About Urban Spacemen
We are a band from the London/Essex/Cambridgeshire (UK) area playing original material that combines blues, progressive rock, psychedelia, pop, jazz and anything else we happen to fancy playing. The band members are all experienced musicians who probably ought to have taken up golf or gardening by now yet insist on continuing to rock and roll.

We released our first album 'Plainsongs' in May 2004. It received some excellent reviews which can be viewed at our web site. We are about to record a second album, provisionally entitled 'On Your Planet, to be presented to an unsuspecting world at some point during the current millenium.

We hope you enjoy the song excerpts we have posted here, you will find more recent and extensive samples of our music at our website. If you want to hear the entire album, we would be delighted to sell you a copy, again via our website.

For the benefit of any record company executives desperately searching for the next big thing, we would like to point out that we are probably too old, unphotogenic, hopelessly unfashionable and devoid of any commercial potential. Believe us, it is true.
