James is a Pennsylvanian who began life as a Puerto Rican and wants to grow up to be a Brit. In the meantime, he works in customer service to pay the bills and try and make it through college the second time around.

Evenings are more fun here too - what with being able to drink legally and all that. My two girlfriends and I hang out with the other Americans fairly often, but we've also befriended one of the German guys who works for the Sprachinstitut. He invites us to hang around with him and his friends (to go clubbing, for instance) which is REALLY AWESOME.
