Born Dwayne Price(Henderson) on the date of July 18th,1982 At Jamaica Hospital In Queens, New York. The only son of Fanny Price and Dan Henderson. When Dwayne was a couple of months old his biological mother Fanny died of heart failure. He was then left to live with her niece Mary Price. She raised him until he was 6yrs old, When his father received custody of him and moved him to Roosevelt, Long Island. He attended Washington Rose Elementary School Until the 3rdgrade. He then moved to North Carolina with his stepmother Patricia Henderson. His father died of HIV when he was 11yrs old, leaving him with Patricia. 5yrs later Patricia died leaving Dwayne in the custody of his fathers daughter back in Roosevelt , Long Island. While back in Roosevelt Dwayne Enrolled into Nassau Tech B.O.C.E.S. At the same time he was attending night classes at Freeport High School. Dwayne then Pursued a rap career with a Group called GNA(Guns And Ammo) which consist of Himself, Angell & Lazy. Soon after that he was kicked out of the house by his fathers daughter forcing him to move back to Southside Jamaica , Queens. Upon moving back to Queens Dwayne Then enrolled into Roosevelt high School, where he commuted everyday to Long Island For School. After months of trying the school route, he then got a job at Pathmark on Merrick Blvd in Queens And resigned from School to Chase his dreams In the Music Industry. Dwayne then starting Rapping full time with his friends Angellez Reignz aka Angell and Javal Welch aka Lazy. Angell who was already a solo artist took Dwayne aka U.R.B.Z and LAZY under the wing to help them further there career as the group GNA. As Time past the group progressed making their first appearance on BOOTLEGGERS DELIGHT Produced by Greenhouse Entertainment. The group would then switch their Moniker from from GNA To HATE KLUB. While working and Recording They made Appearances On Several mixtapes by DJ Kay Slay, DJ Mello and Numerous CK All-stars mix tapes. Things would soon take a drastic turn upon the incarceration of the groups leader Angell in 2004. This Would Leave U.R.B.Z And Lazy As the only two Remaining Artist in the group. As time Passed the two Continued to work on there music And would end up Finding another Artist by the Name of Golden Stylz ,Who was a solo Artist From North Carolina. Not to long After U.R.B.Z and Lazy began working with Golden Stylz, U.R.B.Z would get incarcerated March 2006. While U.R.B.Z Was Away Golden Stylz Would Join HATE KLUB aside Lazy. The two would eventually Find A Manager And Form a Duo known as DA KLUB, which would leave U.R.B.Z to Go Solo Upon His Release. While Incarcerated U.R.B.Z. continued to Stay focus on preparing himself for the transition of becoming a solo Artist, while mastering his craft as a songwriter. U.R.B.Z would sometimes perform songs for the prisoners around the yard or tables to get their insight on his music, and to see if they liked it. When released in Nov “06” U.R.B.Z would Hit the studio and lay down the material he had while away, as well as Songs Inspired upon his return. He would soon get back in his rhythm and make the studio a daily part of his days routine. U.R.B.Z Says His self “ If I don’t have at least 3 to 5 songs done, I try not to go unless I do. That way when I do go to the studio I know that I will be in there all day working. Because I am not leaving until I get what my goal is for that day done.” U.R.B.Z Consider his self to be a Artist not just a Rapper.” A Artist is the Complete Package (Which includes ,Music ,Personality, Image, and last but not least Work Ethic) And a Rapper is somebody who can just Rap. “ A lot of people get those words confused, and being that I take my music serious I correct them whenever I can. I don’t believe in doing rush jobs, but I am capable of writing on the spot. Whether it be for features or freestyle purposes, etc.” U.R.B.Z believes in Lyrics and versatility. He also Knows he can right to any beat. On another note He has a solo Project out that is entitled “Mr U Gotta Hate It” The Mixtape. Now U Gotta Hate It which is his teams motto (H.A.T.E KLUB aka HK) Insinuates that u got to hate them. Reason being that the more successful you are, the more Hate u receive. U.R.B.Z breaks it down” See people think that H.A.T.E KLUB is a bunch of Haters, but its really the opposite. (Hence the Motto). H.A.T.E KLUB has a meaning to it which is (Hardworking And Talented Entrepreneurs) but some people overlook that just because they think negative.” Despite the misinterpretation of the word H.A.T.E, U.R.B.Z believes that the people will either love or relate to what HK stands for because most people feel the same way he does.“ So that should clear all the speculation up about me and my team.” Anyway the mixtape has Something for everybody on it. Including original songs and freestyles featuring other artists. U.R.B.Z has a lyrical content and presence on the track that catches any listeners ear as soon as they hear it. He also has a distinguishing voice and creativity level that most artist do not have. “ I say that for the fact that nowadays everybody sounds similar. In addition to that I think a lot of A&R’s and execs listen with their wallets in mind instead of their hearts. That’s just how I Feel, That’s why the game is in the state it’s in now. Oh and Im Not Hating or nothing im just a Realist. By all means get your money because that’s what we all are here for anyway right ,It‘s just Business.” U.R.B.Z Just wants to continue to make good music and Hopefully the people Can get something from his music.
