Urfaust is an Ambient project started by IX and DLN in 1999. The first demo "Urvaterlicher Sagen" was recorded and released for a small circle of friends and comrades. After 4 years VRDRBR joined Urfaust to do drums and IX decided to replace the synthesizer for the guitar. Urfaust became a two piece Black Metal band. The first album "Geist ist Teufel" (lp/cd/mc) was released, which included the "Urvaterlicher Sagen" demo. DLN re-joined the Urfaust clan to take care of the orchestral work for the second full lenght "Verräterischer, Nichterwurdiger Geist" (cd/lp/mc). After some silence two split releases with Circle of Ouroborus (cd/lp) and The Ruins of Beverast (7") where unleashed on mankind. The latest release is the "Drei Rituale jenzeits des Kosmos" mini album on Debemur Morti (fr). Now the band is working on a new full lenght album on Ván Records (ger) and preparing for new live rituals…
Ahh lovely, I just thought it was a fan site. We probably exchanged a couple of emails regarding the shirt... I asked if you were going to do any Planet AIDS ones too hehe.
Our full-album "Broken Leaf" is finished! We are on our quest now to find a label to get this album released asap! In the meantime, you can check 2 songs of the album already on our myspace!
