| About Uri Gurvich |
Born and raised in Israel, Uri began playing the saxophone at age of 10.
Uri attended Rimon School in Israel and Berklee College of Music in Boston, from which he graduated with honors in 2005.
Since then he performed around the world in such places such as Vien Jazz Festival, Marciac Jazz Festival, Copenhagen Jazz House, Santander Jazz Festival, Cadiz Cambalache, Lisbon Teatro de Belem, Sttutgart auditorium, Ezcaray Festival Spain, Tokyo Tuc Club, Kobe Phonix Jazz Festival, Tokoname Japan, Boston wally's, BPC, The Blues Alley festival DC, Cinmateq Tel Aviv, Red Sea Jazz Festival, Israel Opera House and more.
Uri had shared the stage with such artists as: Joe Lovano, Dave Liebman, Niels Orsted Pedersen, Django Bates, Herb Pomeroy, Mick Goodrick, Francisco Mela and more.
Now a days Uri lives in New York City, where he performs regularly with his band and as a sideman.
