The next big thing to come out of the gateway of Petersburg, Virginia, UriYah has been working and establishing himself as a well sought after producer and entertainer within the ever- expanding world of Hip Hop.
Steadily striving to become a staple within the Hip Hop community, UriYah has fully immersed himself into becoming a very prominent and promising producer; mixing and crafting great works for various artists within the east coast, most notoriously with Hip Hop artist Hen, with their highly anticipated radio single “Pick Em Up”, as well as the energy-filled triumph song “Let Your Guard Down” which is currently being played on an international scale within the mainstream and underground circuits.
UriYah got his first taste of the vast musical pie in 2003 while studying Music Production, and within that faithful moment he was fully inspired that music will be a commitment he was willing to engage in. From that instant, developing awe-inspiring beats (as well as penning his very own lyrics as an Hip Hop artist, which briefly followed his talent for beat making), flourished as what is seen today in UriYah, a young man driven by great ambition and a tireless work ethic, in whom is destined to engrave his footprint atop the pinnacle of Hip Hop and Pop culture in days to come.
He is currently performing in and around the Richmond and Petersburg, Virginia area, bringing his unique brand of cleverly scripted lyrics, neatly wrapped in a film of verbal wisdom combined with soulful beats creating a realm of mellow essence, truly UriYah can be classified as being in a class by himself.
He will soon be traveling overseas to Germany and Holland as part of the European Promotional Tour of Summer 2009.
In addition to collaborating with Hip Hop artist Hen as aforementioned, UriYah is now in the studio with re known studio engineer Martinez, who has worked alongside Hip Hop great Tupac Shakur as well as with Lil Jon and Eastside Boyz .
