The Urs Blöchlinger tribute band was formed in 2006 by Canadian Bassist Neal Davis and Swiss Musicians Dieter Ulrich and Christoph Baumann to rediscover the work of the late Swiss saxophonist and composer Urs Blöchlinger. Canadian multi-reedist Peter Lutek heads up the horn section along with Kelly Jefferson on soprano sax and Tom Richards on Trombone
The group recorded a live concert in Toronto in Sept/2006 and will be releasing it on Petmantis Records in 2009.------------
