*This group is not yet a Non-profit Organization. While we appreciate the generosity, absolutely no donations will be accepted. We will continue to utilize this MySpace site to help promote advocacy efforts, pursued by established Non-profit Organizations, by displaying their banners with utmost pride. We sincerely hope that you will consider directing your donations towards those other worthy causes displayed on this MySpace Site.
*This MySpace site was developed primarily to help facilitate the networking of United States' Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, current military personnel of all service branches, and their supporters. Our ultimate goal, however, is to build this effort, through increased national exposure, so that we can continue to effectively pursue advocacy efforts on behalf of United States' Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan.
Through our MySpace site, we also hope to successfully link our general American population to the brave men and women who sacrifice so much on our behalf. Endless stories have been generated by those who have experienced the war efforts first hand. Because we strongly believe that it is not just our military at war, but, rather our entire country, we sincerely hope that the general American public will try their best to understand these experiences, and embrace them, regardless of political agenda or ideology.
Many Veteran's/Military organizations have been birthed as a direct result of the war efforts. While there is no doubt that they have done some great things for veterans, and current military personnel, they oftentimes compete, rather than complement one another. For that reason, we will continue to utilize our MySpace page, as a solid platform of support, in order to unite these various resources, and help direct traffic towards their worthy causes, as well.
While we continue to build this effort up to the point where we can have a formidable impact on veterans, and the issues they currently face, we will continue to proudly display the banners of the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) on this MySpace site.

The United States' Veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan is a newly formed MySpace group that emerged in direct response to what we perceive as an escalating need, and desire, to demonstrate our continual support of all military personnel at home, and currently deployed overseas.
While this group was established as a direct result of the ongoing collaboration amongst a small handful of Army Veterans, we believe that our actions should display a unified voice of support that transcends any barriers emplaced by the stigmas associated with each various branch of service.
We will remain politically neutral in regards to various stances concerning the approval, or disapproval, of the war efforts. While we are aware that these various stances do, in fact, exist, we will not allow this page to become a platform for these debates, irregardless of how subtle in nature they are. Instead, our focus is founded on providing a public forum by which past, and present, veterans can congregate in order to demonstrate a unifying factor of support for those who have been, and are currently, in harm's way.
If harnessed correctly, we believe that online communities, such as MySpace, provide an incredible avenue for rallying, and maintaining, support of these brave men and women.
This group is not associated, in any way, beyond monetary contributions given from it's current members already, with the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), or the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America (IAVA). We will, however, display their banners on our MySpace site with upmost pride.
While we may be members of several organizations simultaneously, we do believe that this effort can effectively harness the potential of MySpace, as a primary driving force of expressions of support, in a way that complements those previously mentioned organizations.
At no time will monetary contributions/donations be solicited.
