Change happens when one thing ends and another starts. This is the same story of Us Against The Archers, an experimental pop rock band from Western Massachusetts. UATA is a combination of members who were in two previous bands and have come together to create music that is energetic, catchy, memorable, smart, and passionate.
The band is comprised of four members, each bringing their own styles, influences, and musical backgrounds to the table. Guitars and vocals are done by Robert Kapitzky and Anthony DiSanto. Seth Decoteau plays bass, while Bryce Dooley plays the drums. Although each member draws influences from different sources, the entire band feeds off of each others musical input to produce a fresh sound.
“The thing that stands out about our music is that it stretches the listener’s musical taste” says Anthony. “Fans who enjoy Minus The Bear or Circa Survive might really like the odd time signatures we play or breakdowns that we do, but fans of Saves The Day or even Cartel will enjoy the pop sensibility and memorable parts that we retain with our songs.”
Us Against The Archers live show is where they really shine. Each member puts everything they have to making their live performance an experience rather than just a showcase of their music. Their live show is a perfect blend of energetic rocking out and tight musicianship that can be reproduced on the stage.
When asked to describe Us Against The Archers, Anthony DiSanto said “We aren’t trying to reinvent the wheel with the music we create. We are trying to take that wheel and make it do different things; take it different places.”

I know I've been totally out of the loop, but how different your music has become! I had in Hearts and Spades at work the other day and everyone was singing along with (seventh story jumper?).....catchy! Hope you all are doing well.
Hey there! Listen... I'd really love to get my hands on some of the old music when you guys were still The Skeptics. An ex of mine had a copy of a Skeptics CD that he supposedly got from you guys in Mass... Said he personally knew ya'll growing up there and shit.. But anyway him being an ex I obviously no longer have that CD in my possession and it was one of my faves!! I've looked everywhere online and couldn't find t... Anyway I could order it from somewhere or something? Help me out if you can! Thanks a lot !!
Hey guys, we still want to set up a show with you guys in the very near future. We just posted two new songs off our upcoming demo. Have a listen and let us know what you think. Any ideas on a venue/date in western mass you want to play at with us?
Hey!!! I love you guy's music and I have been a fan since back when you guys were The Skeptics. As a matter of fact, Seven Story Jumper is one of my all time favorite songs. Anyways, I was just wondering if theres any way possible that I can download a Mp3 of the song Sober you guys recorded when you were still the skeptics? I've searched around for it everywhere and havent been able to even find a clip of it. =( Anywho, keep up the good work!!!!
