Nikki Sweet Catastrophe	Nov 12 2008 4:18 PM Why werent all the doors open to get in? Why was the only 1 for seat tix and 1 for GA? I was upset becuase we had to stand in line in the cold forever and when we finally made it inside Saving Abel was just finishing. So me and the 100's of people behind me didnt get to see them. Also the tix said 6:30 which usually on a ticket is when doors open so what time did SA take the stage? Just wondering because my friends and I were not very happy about this.

I also love the Coliseum layout as well..Verry beautiful building..The U.S. Cellular Coliseum staff was really helpful to us..But a down fall the parking..Could not find a good spot..Oh well it ROCKS!! The team announced Thursday that Derek Booth, who was Thunder head coach for the franchise’s first two seasons, will not be re-signed for next season. Booth, who signed a two-year contract in 2006, compiled a 56-83-13 record, missing the playoffs both seasons. His first team, which competed in the United Hockey League, was 25-45-6. This past season, the Thunder improved by six games in the win column but finished 31-38-7 in the International Hockey League. Both seasons ended in last-place finishes. PrairieThunder general manager Jerry McBurney said he will conduct a national search immediately for the team’s next coach. “Building an expansion team is one of the most difficult things to do in professional sports,” McBurney said. “We appreciate the time and effort Derek put in while serving as the head coach of the PrairieThunder and helping to lay a foundation for the future of the organization. We wish him well in his future endeavors.” Booth said he understood the move as a business decision, adding that he leaves with no hard feelings. “I am proud of what I did as a coach, starting a new organization from the ground up,” Booth said. “I think over the two years that I coached here, we progressed two straight years.” Booth was confident that he would land on his feet. “I have some irons in the fire right now,” he said. The 37-year-old Booth endured a season full of frustration, yet managed to keep the Thunder within striking distance of a playoff berth late in the season. He witnessed team captain Jason Ralph suddenly retire early in the season, four of his top players defect to European leagues and various struggles to appropriately equip his team during the absentee ownership of Tony Lisman, a Muskegon, Mich., businessman.
