The USC SUMMER GUITAR SEMINAR is an intensive four week class designed to prepare high school guitarists for successful entry into the USC THORNTON SCHOOL OF MUSIC STUDIO/JAZZ GUITAR PROGRAM.
Class meets July 5th-30th, five days a week for six hours a day. Three hours in the morning and three hours in the afternoon. Students study theory, improvisation, technique, and sight reading. There will also be master classes with the distinguished USC Studio/Jazz Guitar Faculty*, field trips to Los Angeles’s world renowned Jazz venues, and numerous student performances.
