About USE AS DIRECTED

Fresh in high school, and a future that is only looking up, one of Aurora Canada's seldom pop punk bands, Use as Directed is a making a name for themselves. "We are used to being babied in a sense" says singer and guitar player Keegan Powell. " Being a young band has many more pros than cons, but one the of biggest ones are that people underestimate you". The band hopes to disprove this with the release of there indepedently released EP recorded at Foreverver Studios. The record consists of catchy, hook intensive melody-driven pop punk that will have you humming by the second chorus.

Being influenced and growing up listening to bands like Blink 182 and New Found Glory, the music they create comes naturally. "Were not saying thats all we ever listen to. But that's what comes natural for us. Writing melody driven rock music". Though mature musically the band is still young at heart. "Growing up listening to music constanly and idolizing bands like Blink, doing what im doing now just feels natural" says Keegan. Being considered the band can't even drive, Use as Directed is a band filled with promise and hope. New songs from the EP will be posted very shortly so watch out!
