Christopher Allen Johnson was born in South Bend Indiana on June 8th,1976.He married the love of his life Michele Riordan on his birthday,June 8th 2007.He is survived by his wife Michele,mother Wendy,father Kenny,sister Dawn,cousin Ryan,and his two nephews Christopher and Taylor.
Chris Johnson was of two singers in the Minneapolis based thrash/hardcore band Useless Wooden Toys.He was also the lead vocalist in another Minneapolis band called Loaded First /Bonner head.Music and skating were his passions.When Useless Wooden Toys would tour,he and the boys would invade every skate park in the nation along the way.He loved to play thrash,and was a very proficient skater.Chris was a standup guy who was always there for friends and family.He made many friends on the road and this is a devastating loss to all that knew him,gigged with him,and partied with him.
Chris Johnson was murdered June 21st,2008 for defending a female friend of his who was being groped by a random redneck named Brian P. White in Bloomington Indiana.The murderer was caught by police two hours after the attack hiding in a cellar like a coward.Chris fought the attacker Brian P. White, off of his friend,then White ran into the home where the house show/party being held,grabbed a knife,and attacked Chris stabbing him in the chest.
Chris Johnson died for being a standup guy who was defending a female from being groped unwillingly by White.He will always be honored and remembered as a great friend,husband,brother and skater that he was.Rest in peace bro.You will be missed and never forgotten
