"Never Look Down on Someone Unless You are Helping Them Up!"
When we walk in the spirit, the
"FRUIT OF THE SPIRIT"
shines forth to other people, like a lighthouse shines forth it's light.
"CALLING ALL D-U-C-K-S THAT ARE UNDER THE BED"
"IT IS TIME TO COME OUT OF THE DARKNESS OF LEGALISM!"
"LET YOUR LIGHT SHINE! "
Luke 8:16 “Now no one after lighting a lamp covers it over with a container, or PUTS IT UNDER A BED; but he puts it on a lampstand, so that those who come in may see the light. 17 “For nothing is hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light.
The acronym D.U.C.K.S. stands for
"Devoted Unconditionally to Christ's Kingdom and Service".
just know God is ready to embrace you if you ask him.
" Who Am I "
Many have asked me who am I? My name is Francine. I am fifty-three.
Sammy was my daughter's boyfriend for a mere 6 months.
Most would consider that a fairly short time.
But in that short time I saw a young man with a heart ? the size of Texas.
He showed so much love and you could see how he cared so much for others..Putting others before himself. It broke my heart ? when
he took his own life.
The pain I felt ran through my whole body.
I knew God had put this young man in my life for a reason.
I cried and prayed asking God what can I do?
Mind you, I had never been on my space before and yet God lead me to it.
I shortly realized he wanted me to make this Tribute to Sammy.
In the beginning I felt God was using this site to aid in comforting Sammy's love ones. But soon afterwards,
I started seeing the site go into a transformation.
No longer was it just for the loved ones,
but for those hurting for various reasons.
It was becoming one of God's tools to give aid
and comfort through the word of God.
But with that happening it began to lose the intimacy which his loved ones longed for.
Then I saw God open another door to take care of that need and be a great blessing for his family and those close to him.
It is so amazing to watch God in action.
I never know what to expect, but I do know whenever God is running the show it will be a great performance.
When my life has reached its very end, And I take that final breath; I want to know I've left behind, Some "good" before my death.
I hope that in my final hour, In all honesty I can say: That somewhere in my lifetime, I have brightened someone's day.
That maybe I have brought a smile To someone else's face, And made one moment a little sweeter While they dwelled here in this place.
Lord, please be my reminder And whisper softly in my ear ... To be a "giver," not a "taker," In the years I have left here.
Give to me the strength I need, Open up my mind and my soul That I might show sincere compassion, And love to others before I go.
For if not a heart be touched by me, And not a smile was left behind ... Then the life that I am blessed with, Will have been a waste of time.
With all my heart, I truly hope To leave something here on earth ... That touched another, made them smile And gave to my life ... worth.

Sammy touched the hearts of many and being a believer in God and his word, I want to share with you some things I know. The Bible tells us so much. It gives us instructions on how to live our lives. It tells us what we must do to receive spiritual wisdom, peace, understanding, and most of all how to have eternal life in heaven. We are here on Earth for a season. It is like a blink of a eye compared to eternity. We are all here for a purpose. Ultimately each of us are here to win souls to God. I know for me God has grown closer to my heart. I was close before but I had drifted away and Sammy opened my eyes and I knew that God was reaching out to me I just needed to ask and he started showing me what I needed to do. I began to pray for wisdom, and peace started pouring into my heart. The more I pray the more I feel him. Sometimes God uses certain people in ways we don't understand. But in doing so he shows his glory. We see only a fragment of the picture but God sees the whole picture. Now for me what keeps repeating in my head is a scripture that I want to share with you. It says "And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose" Romans 8:28. I feel God shared this with me, it gave me comfort knowing Sammy was a child of God and that he had been reading his bible and praying. Only God knows what is in store but I know with God it is good. Sammy is being used by God in a very special way. We all saw his caring heart, his big smile, his gentle nature, oh if only we had more young men who show so much love for others. Sammy stood out and knowing he was talking to God gives me peace. In Thessalonians 4:13-18 it tells us that he is asleep for now but when Jesus returns he will awaken the dead in Christ and Sammy will meet Jesus in the clouds. Jesus will take him home to have eternal life where there is no pain, no tears, a place so wonderful that it is hard to imagine. I know I want to go there. In John 3:17 it says "For God did not send the Son in the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through him.
RIP Sammy we will see you soon.
God's Word
IF I KNEW
If I knew it would be the last time That I'd see you fall asleep, I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord, your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door, I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in praise, I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day after day.
If I knew it would be the last time, I could spare an extra minute to stop and say;I love you; instead of assuming you would KNOW I do.
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day, well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight, and we always get a second chance to make everything just right.
There will always be another day to say I love you,; And certainly there's another chance to say
Anything I can do?
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get, I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone, young or old alike, And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today? For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in thei2 ear, Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear
Take time to say "I'm sorry Please forgive me;Thank you ;It's okay; And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.
OUR PAIN
No two snowflakes are similar, All are different by design. The only common denominator, All melt away with time.
Everyone of us is different, No two are the same. With one exception to the rule, Our common ground is pain.
Happiness and joy may vary, As does the depth of snow. Our emotions are season like, They come-They go.
Inside all of us we carry pain, God made us all this way. An emotion that we carried forth Into each new day.
Pain, the great pretender, Masking what others might have done. Sometimes inflicted by our own doing. A past, or present one.
With time, old pain may loosen And slowly fade away. Making room for all the new, That we may receive today.
Not even Christ was free of it, He knew anguish and knew pain. So God allows us to be Christ like, For we all know the same.
As you interact with one another, Look beyond their fleshy skin. Just as you, so they do too, Have pain buried deep within.

THE WRITTEN WORD MEANS NOTHING WITHOUT LOVE!
The Bible and Love go together!
When we use the word it must be submersed with love in order to help us see the truth.
Since the New Covenant is written on the hearts of man we use the word as our guide!
James 2:13 For judgment will be merciless to one who has shown no mercy; mercy triumphs over judgment.
If we use the word the wrong way it is a blessing for Satan. Satan wants us to use the bible without love.
That is why Jesus made love MANDATORY. Without it, nothing we do as Christians means anything. It is worshiping in vain!
Matthew 22: 36-40
Jesus lets us know love is the greatest commandment. We are to love him and our neighbor as ourselves. Without love we have nothing. Without Love means there is no mercy or forgiveness. It causes division, it breaks up families, it is always judging others and casting stones. We are to be the lights of this world and walk in the Spirit! Fill you heart with the fruit of the Spirit and let it pour out onto others.
Galatians 5 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law
A heart filled with love has no room for hate!
Finding Comfort After Losing a Loved One In Christ!
The Lord tells us our life here on Earth is just a vapor. But the Life that follows this life is eternal, everlasting!!!
James 4 14 ... You are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away.
I understand the pain of losing a loved one. It is so hard when you know you will not be able to see them and hug them but as Children of God we know this is not the end.. We have the Lord's word that gives us hope that we will be with our loved ones again..
1 Corinthians 15 16 For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; 17 and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. 18 Then those also who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. 19 If we have hoped in Christ in this life only, we are of all men most to be pitied.
1 Thessalonians 4 Those Who Died in Christ
13 But we do not want you to be uninformed, brethren, about those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve as do the rest who have no hope. 14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who have fallen asleep in Jesus. 15 For this we say to you by the word of the Lord, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord, will not precede those who have fallen asleep. 16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. 18 Therefore comfort one another with these words.

TRUST IN HIM
Sammy was always helping people. I feel God is using Sammy to spread his word. Sammy was always making friends and even though he is with the Lord, he will continue to touch the hearts of many. So if someone is hurting and needs an encouraging word or they just needs a friend. Sammy is here for them. We loved him and thought he was a special young man. I get comfort in knowing the bible says all things come together for good for those who love him. In John 11: 25-26 Jesus said. "The man who believes in me will live even though he dies, and anyone who is alive and believes in me will never die at all.
IT IS MUCH MORE THAN I REALIZED
When I first realized The Lord wanted me to make this Tribute to Sammy I had know idea where he was taking it, But in a short time I realized it was must more than just a Tribute to Sammy. I realized The Lord was going to make it a place where people could get comfort through God's love, not limiting it to those who have lost a love one but for everyone know matter what their situation is.
Thank You Lord For your Mercy!
Thank You Friend!
As God Speaks To Our Hearts
Questions our heart asks and our mind tries to understand. When we are hurting and can't see a silver lining and are surrounded by darkness, loneliness over takes us. I once knew a young man with a big heart and a smile to go with it. Always ready to lend a hand, a giver, one who put others before himself. What is it that makes us who we are? Much of who we are comes from our life situations. Our character is built by the things that are thrown at us. We are born into our family by God's choice. God chooses our beginning and he guides us if we let him in our heart. We learn life has pitfalls. Sometimes the stresses of life are more than we think we can bear. We want answers and we ask God why me? God answers us with his word. All of us have a purpose. God doesn't make mistakes. He allows things to happen to us so we will call upon him. He loves us and desires to give us an eternal life. In order to get our attention he allows us pain and heartache. He uses some of us in ways which make us weep and cry Lord why? But the answer is simple. God wants our heart and he wants us to call on him. He will be our way to everlasting life. We feel bad when a loved one passes away and even worse when the one we love chooses to end their own life. God says he won't give us more than we can bear. How do we know if the personal sacrifice is desired by God to reach other's souls? Didn't God allow his own son to die for the sins of the world? Jesus died so that we could live eternally. The bible tells us we must not judge, that is for the all mighty God. We are to love one another even our enemies. Luke 6:37 Luke 6:27. We must learn what the will of the Lord is. Ephesians 5:7 The bible is our manual. God made us and he wrote the book. 2 Peter 1:20, 21 Look to God to shine his light on us and tell us what he wants of us.
"Remember this, God causes all things to work together for good to those who love god, to those called according to his purpose."
Romans 8:28
Now Comes THE QUESTION Many Have Asked Me
Some question rather one can be saved if one takes their on life. God would never cause one to do that, but he would allow Satan too. Sin allows Satan in but Jesus died for our sins. I had been praying for spiritual wisdom and after praying God showed me a scripture. It seemed to pop out at me. 1 Corinthians 5:5 "I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the Destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus"
God has given me peace over this but it had been hard to understand. Sammy had a such a caring heart. I know he knew Jesus. GOD WARNS US OF JUDGING OTHERS. We have no right to say one is going to hell because God is merciful, it is his job to judge, Our job is to love each other and share God's word.
God says in Matthew 7:1-5 Judge not, that you be not judged. For with what judgment you judge, you will be judged; and with the measure you use, it will be measured back to you. And why do you look at the speck in your brother's eye, but do not consider the plank in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, "Let me remove the speck from your eye"; and look, a plank is in your own eye? Hypocrite! First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother's eye.
The Hidden Pain
When something bad happens, yes I am speaking of Sammy. I didn’t understand why. I never imagined something like this happening in my life. God has been molding me for years I just never realized it. Sammy came into my life through my daughter. When he took his life it didn’t take long before I knew without a doubt what God was calling me to do. Through much pain and prayer he began guiding me. I continued to ask him for spiritual wisdom and the Holy Spirit to guide me. God knew that by letting Satan do his evil it would show God’s glory. God knew that Sammy would touch more souls through his death than in his presence here on Earth. I have gone through many trials in my life. My own childhood of sexual abuse by my father (which I only touch the surface of that abuse, going into detail only proliferates the fantasies of perverts) and an alcoholic mother (which I might add died at the age of 47 due to psoriasis of the liver) to a step mother of threatening verbal abuse. At the age of 16 I was rescued by loving family who got me legal help and they became my foster home. There I learned about Jesus (see I had totally blocked out my accepting him at the age of 11 years old because they told me it wasn’t done right). But after leaving the foster home I still carried the abuse of my father, which lead to an early failed marriage, You see sexual abuse manifests insecurity which manifests lack of trust and jealousy. (I couldn’t deal with my husband’s using porn.) Then you are taken in by the world of sin, and you get lost. Depression moves in like a slithering snake. You feel like you are living in a dark cloud and you can’t see anything clearly. God seems miles away and you feel alone in total darkness. For me Satan tried to take my life but God always moved in and kept me safe. So I questioned why would he keep me safe but allow Satan to take Sammy’s life and I realized it had to do with purpose. He molds us and uses us in a way which will be the most beneficial for his will. It was Satan telling Sammy to do it and lying to him. Telling him "Go ahead no one cares. Believe me you will be doing everyone a favor." Satan is the great deceiver, Satan has pulled the same tricks on me. He is the master of lies. But God is merciful. Sammy was loving, caring and he knew Jesus. I cried and prayed, I wanted God to tell me why. I wanted to know his soul was going to be saved. I found jogging and praying went good together, Every time I did God would show me something new. I continued asking God for spiritual wisdom and for the Holy Spirit to guide me. After I came in from what I like to call a "spiritual run " I immediately opened my Bible and there it was. God had given me the answer I so much needed to know. I felt an immediate comfort. 1 Corinthians 5:5 "I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the Destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus" I knew that was God’s way of letting me know he was ok. I still had the other question. It didn’t take long for me to learn that answer too. As I have continued to make This Tribute To Sammy, God showed me it was much more than that. He showed how Sammy was going to reach hearts and share God’s word. God knew how much Sammy loved helping people. He knew how Sammy wanted to be a life-guard because he wanted to save lives. God knew Sammy’s heart. He had a bigger plan for Sammy. God could have stopped Satan but God had a plan. God sees the big puzzle we only see pieces of it. When all the pieces come together then we will see the full picture. In John 11:25-26 Jesus said. "The man who believes in me will live even though he dies, and anyone who is alive and believes in me will never die at all. We never know what God has in store for us. God is patient with us, Just know God never makes mistakes, it is just our lack of understanding. Ask Jesus to show you the way!
Have A blessed Day!
'DON'T FALL INTO SATAN'S TRAP'
As we grow closer to the Lord, Satan sets his traps. He wants us to stumble. He will try harder and harder to lasso our soul. We have to be ready with God's armor. When we feel weakened we must pray even more to gain back strength to fight off the enemy. But caution must be taken in order that we not sin. If someone accuses you falsely or throws verbal abuse at you never turn your behavior into one that duplicates the behavior of the one casting stones at you. Sure it hurts but we must remember we are not here to have the acceptance of man. It is the Lord we want acceptance from. Just remember in order to please God we need to care and love those who harm us.
Never take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE IS MINE, I WILL REPAY,” says the Lord Romans 12:19
"I can do all things through Christ which strengthen me." Philippians 4:13
Christians Suffering as Christ
As Christians it is a blessing when we suffer, it is a time to rejoice. When we suffer for righteousness and yet we endure, we are doing the will of God. When we speak not giving insult for insult or evil for evil and we control our tongue, we are doing the will of God.
No one can harm you if you prove you are zealous for good.
1 Peter 2:
19 For this finds favor, if for the sake of conscience toward God a person bears up under sorrows when suffering unjustly. 20 For what credit is there if, when you sin and are harshly treated, you endure it with patience? But if when you do what is right and suffer for it you patiently endure it, this finds favor with God. 21 For you have been called for this purpose, since Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example for you to follow in His steps, 22 WHO COMMITTED NO SIN, NOR WAS ANY DECEIT FOUND IN HIS MOUTH; 23 and while being reviled, He did not revile in return; while suffering, He uttered no threats, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; 24 and He Himself bore our sins in His body on the cross, so that we might die to sin and live to righteousness; for by His wounds you were healed.
1 Peter 3:
14 But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed AND DO NOT FEAR THEIR INTIMIDATION, AND DO NOT BE TROUBLED, 15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; 16 and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. 17 For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong. 18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit.
WHERE IS YOUR HEART ?
Our love for Jesus is going to override any church doctrine. A sincere heart, the way we think is truly more important than church doctrine. How we treat others is more important than church doctrine. Do we show love, compassion, mercy, and forgiveness?Jesus says with what measure you use on others is how it will be used on us. As Christians we need to take a look at our heart, our thoughts, and question ourselves. Are we pleasing to Jesus? If yes give thanks to him, if no ask him to help you have the heart he desires. Going to Church is not what makes a good Christian. In Mark 7 that is where Jesus is talking to the Pharisees and scribes. He tells them they are worshipping in vain. He says they honor him with their lips but their heart is far from him. They follow traditional teaching of Doctrines the way man precepts it. But Jesus makes a clear point that what defiles man is what comes out of heart of man. Notice the things he mentions: evil thought, fornications, theft, murders, adulteries, deeds of coveting, as well as deceit, sensuality, envy, slander, pride and foolishness, Jesus shows us it isn't church doctrine that's going to determine our fate. It is going to come from within us. It is going to come from our heart and actions. The good news is all sins are forgiven if we repent. That is why Jesus came and died so our sins could be removed by his blood.
Many Christians today are like the Pharisees where tradition is what is focused on and they are lacking on the essentials which Jesus spoke of.
After receiving this from the Holy Spirit it was verified to me by God's word.
The whole law hangs on the 2 commandments Jesus said.
Matthew 22: 36 Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?
37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
38 This is the great and first commandment.
39 And a second like ..unto it' is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
40 On these two commandments the whole law hangeth, and the prophets.
"TO ALL THOSE HURTING"
My prayers go out to all those hurting. I know God is listening to your cries. But know there is hope through God. He can make the worst tragedy turn into something good. The key is Christ. Through Christ he will open new doors, show you another way, but it takes faith. If we put our total trust in him he will not let us down. Sometimes the thing you think you want or need isn't the answer. God knows the answer. What we need to learn is our afflictions are actually a blessing. As we learn to endure our afflictions and use Christ as an example we find favor with God. Christ went through much pain and suffering. People made fun of him and they ended up killing him. On the other hand Christ never treated them the way he was treated. He endured it and prayed for those who hurt him. He showed love and compassion. When we pray it is good to ask for a heart ? that is pleasing to God. He tells us not to give up hope, persevere. If we love Jesus with all our heart and ask for forgiveness he will cleanse away our sins. You could have been a prostitute, thief, murderer, or whatever. But a sincere heart asking for forgiveness will be forgiven. Jesus sees our heart when man can't. So if there are those hurting because someone is making you feel worthless endure it, pray for them, and God will exalt you. We need to leave the judgement to God. He will take care of those in his time. This is what God has been showing me and I just wanted to share it with you. God's way isn't always the easy way but it is the right way and it will take you places you have never been.
Peace and Comfort Be With You!
A HEART FILLED WITH LOVE HAS NO ROOM FOR HATE
The bible says God is love. In Matthew 5:44 God tells us to love our enemy, In Matthew 22:39 He tells us to love our neighbor as our self. So say you were abused, molested or raped how should be towards that person? I will tell you man's way is not the way of God. Man's way would show hatred and wish the worst on that person for hurting us. But is that how God wants us to be? Nowhere in the bible does God show us these actions are of him. He tells us to have love and compassion, pray for those who hurt you. The best example is Jesus on the cross praying to God for those who harmed him, asking God to forgive them for they know not what they do. Should we be any different. Let God and the justice system handle it. What about people who are gay, of another religious group or race? Does that give us a right to hate someone because they believe differently or because they are of another color? Not according to the bible, it says to love your enemy. I don't see where it gives any exceptions. If we are holding hatred in our heart, it isn't of God, The Amish people showed us recently a heart pleasing to God. When their children were murdered at that little school, they forgave the killer and visited his family. They knew this was what God wanted. They knew if they wanted to be forgiven of their own sins they must forgive others...I think this world would be a better place if we all lived God's way and not man's way. Praying for Peace and Happiness to All of You! Lots of Love, Francine
(*Loving your enemies doesn't mean you love the sin, there is a difference.)
Jesus talks about love and he says the law hangs on two commandment. The first one is to love the lord with all your heart, soul, and mind. The second one is to love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22: 36- 40
Mt 5:43 Ye have heard that it was said, Thou shalt love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy:
Mt 5:44 but I say unto you, love your enemies, and pray for them that persecute you;
Mt 5:46 For if ye love them that love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mt 19:19 Honor thy father and mother; and, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mt 22:37 And he said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
Mt 22:39 And a second like ..unto it' is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Mk 12:30 and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength.
Mk 12:31 The second is this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.
Mk 12:33 and to love him with all the heart, and with all the understanding, and with all the strength, and to love his neighbor as himself, is much more than all whole burnt-offerings and sacrifices.
Lk 6:27 But I say unto you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you,
Lk 6:32 And if ye love them that love you, what thank have ye? for even sinners love those that love them.
Lk 6:35 But love your enemies, and do ..them' good, and lend, never despairing; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Most High: for he is kind toward the unthankful and evil.
Jn 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, that ye love one another; even as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.
Jn 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
Jn 15:12 This is my commandment, that ye love one another, even as I have loved you.
Rom 13:8 Owe no man anything, save to love one another: for he that loveth his neighbor hath fulfilled the law. Rom 13:9 For this, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not kill, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not covet, and if there be any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, namely, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Rom 13:10 Love worketh no ill to his neighbor: Love therefore is the fulfilment of the law.
1 Cor 13:2 And if I have ..the gift of' prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.
1 Cor 13:13 But now abideth faith, hope, love, these three; and the greatest of these is love.
Gal 5:14 For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, ..even' in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.
Gal 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and selfcontrol.
CLAIM HIS PROMISE
.."But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all that I said to You" (John 14:2v). "Which things we also speak, but not in words taught by human wisdom, but in those taught by the Spirit, combining spiritual thoughts with spiritual words" (1 Corinthians 2:13).
Forgiveness
Many times victims find it difficult to forgive and forget the person who hurt them mentally, physically, socially etc . At times, we find that we are affected by acts of disloyalty and acts of betrayal by our friends, partners etc. Until we forgive, we are the prisoner of the person who has offended us. To forgive is to cease to feel resentment against an offender, to pardon ones enemies. Scripture says that And when you stand praying, if you hold anything against anyone, forgive him, so that your Father in heaven may forgive you your sins (Mark 11:25). Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven (Luke 6:37). God is saying that it is in our own best interest to forgive! He is not talking about what is in the best interest of the person who needs to be forgiven. Forgiveness does not mean you agree with what the other person did to you. It does not mean you can change what happened or erase what they did. What's done is done. All you can do is release yourself. Forgiveness is a Choice: a Step-by-Step Process for resolving anger and restoring Hope. Anger appears powerful, but leaves us feeling frustrated and powerless. Forgiveness, which appears weak, leaves us feeling stronger and less vulnerable to others. Forgiving others often starts as a decision of surrender an act of our will. Forgiving others does not come so easily however spiritual minded we are but we have to forgive others to be forgiven by God.
Here are some selected useful tips to help you to forgive: - Do not deny that you have been hurt. - Make a decision to forgive others (Luke 17:3-5) - Do not seek revenge or repay evil for evil. Let God handle it in his perfect way (1 Peter 3:9) - Ask Jesus to help you release the anger inside you (Ephesians 4:26-27,31) - Pray for a forgiving heart and read what the Bible says about the subject. - Pray for those who have hurt you (Matthew 5:44)
Let us make a habit to forgive the minor or major issues happening in our lives. May the God grand us sufficient grace to forgive those against whom we hold grudge. Nothing is impossible by God. Lets us resolve and depend on God to overcome every kind of bitterness and anger indwelling us.
These are not my words. but I know I couldn't have written it any better.
When it Comes to The Word of God
There are many interpretations of the word of God but as Christians it is our job to study and pray. Ask the Lord to give you spiritual wisdom and ask the Holy Spirit to show you the truth.. It is good to listen but to except what a preacher or clergyman says without study is putting yourself into a situation for a let down. They are human and are not perfect. They can make mistakes just like the rest of us..Sometimes they let their followers down by committing a sinful act. If we put all our faith in any one person we are sure to be let down. We must realize they are human and look above them to our perfect Lord. Asking him to show us the truth, knowing he will always take us where we need to go and give us the answers we need to know. One thing I have learned is to focus on is what I know is true, and the things that are debatable shouldn't engulf us. If they do that is when you get the separation between having a relationship with the Lord and religious differences. I have to say what is important is that personal relationship with the Lord. The Lord sees your heart and knows your prayers. No one can see our heart like the Lord can and you know whether you are sincere or not. Our job is to please the Lord not to please man. My prayers are with you in learning the truth. Don't take my word but pray and ask the Lord for it. You are all blessings to me, the good and the bad! The Lord is always teaching me through my trials and my prayers.
When Seeking Prayer for Others
In seeking help from others it is important to realize you can never explain the whole situation of your problem, and we aren't meant to. We are all human and we all make mistakes. The key is to learn from your mistakes, repent, asking the Lord for forgiveness. Then do your best to not make the same mistake again. Even with good intentions and seeking the prayer of others we may find we have given out to much personal information on the ones we are trying to help. The Lord knows every detail, going to others and reviling personal matters to get advice is short changing the Lord. We must trust him to show us what we need to know and not depend on others to give us the answers. If asking for prayer for others must revile their personal matters we are stepping over the line. Unfortunately I have found I am guilty of this, but I am thankful that the Lord has a way of showing me my wrong doing, so that I can be more pleasing to him…Our life is a journey filled with many lessons. Learn from your mistakes and be thankful the Lord gave you that lesson in life. You will be a better person and more pleasing to the Lord for it. If someone acts as though they are so godly that they never have any wrong doings, know they are in denial of the truth. A Christian who is arrogant and looks down on others is lacking the greatest commandment, love. We are to love Jesus and love our neighbors as ourselves, pray for our enemies. Christians who are humble and are willing to admit their wrong doings is much more pleasing to the Lord than a Christian who acts as if they never do anything wrong and would never admit it. They have too much pride, but this pride puts up a barrier between them and the Lord. It isn't fun to be disciplined but our father loves us.
WHERE IS YOUR TREASURE
Today we live in a world of material things. How many of us just love our homes and like decorating it up? How many of us like to dress wearing name brands, paying to have our nails done, some having cosmetic surgery to enhance our looks? Guys how about those cars and trucks you love? Some put there heart and soul into fixing them up for show. You might be one who works and uses every penny to just improve the looks of it. Well, it happen to a neighbor of mine. I saw him make a transformation in a truck he bought. He made that truck look awesome. He started taking it to car shows. It was a winner for sure. Then yesterday within a few seconds it was destroyed, totaled in the blink of an eye. Look at the lovely homes that have been destroyed by hurricanes, fires, twisters. mud slides and other natural disasters. So you ask what am I getting at? God tells us to not to store up treasures on Earth that can be eaten by moths and rust but to store up treasures for heaven. I am not saying it isn't ok to have nice things but we need to make sure we are not making that our number one priority.
In Matthew 6:19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon the earth, where moth and rust consume, and where thieves break through and steal. 20 but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth consume, and where thieves do not break through nor steal. 21 for where thy treasure is, there will thy heart be also.
God tells us we need to be content with what we have as long as we have food and covering.
1 Timothy 6:7 For we have brought nothing into the world, so we cannot take anything out of it either. 8 If we have food and covering, with these we shall be content. 9 But those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful desires which plunge men into ruin and destruction.
Hebrews 13:5 Make sure that your character is free from the love of money, being content with what you have; for He Himself has said, "I WILL NEVER DESERT YOU, NOR WILL I EVER FORSAKE YOU,"
Matthew 6:25 Therefore I say unto you, be not anxious for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than the food, and the body than the raiment?
Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, [therewith] to be content.
It isn't About the Number of Friends we Have!
As Christians it isn't about the number of friends on our sites but it is about reaching out to others and sharing the good news. Showing others that we have hope and letting others know how the Lord has helped us in our own lives. I have seen with my own eyes how the Lord can turn something tragic into something good. Not one time but throughout my whole life. The more people we reach out to, the more people can be helped. This could be a site just for Christians but it is so much more. It is an open door to anyone who is in need or knows someone in need. If someone desires to be a friend I won't close the door on them unless it has do to with spam, or trying to get people into porn which I know first hand how additive that stuff is. I know what it did to my own father. If anyone is interest in reading more about that. Check out my blog.
Learning to Forgive Others In my Own Life (My Testimony)
Why Does God Allow Satan To Unleash Evil On Christians?
When we read the book of Job it is interesting how Satan needed permission from the Lord. It shows before Satan could unleash evil on Job he had to get permission from God. The significance of this event is that Satan is answerable to God; he needs permission from the Lord in order to unleash evil on the Lord's servants. This shows that God does in fact have the ability to prevent evil from taking place. So then why does he let it continue? The reason for this is because God wishes to honor our free will; not just the free will itself, but the consequences which come with it.
Why does God allow Satan to unleash evil on Christians?
Two reasons:
One is Discipline One is Trials
"True faith is not getting from God what you want in life, true faith is accepting what God has planned for your life." Accepting what God has planned for your life may mean enduring pain and hardship. We do this through patience that is a "Fruit of the Spirit". We cannot do it in our own strength. We must rely upon the Holy Spirit of God. Job's question is still valid today "Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?" God's will for our life may involve both good and trouble and we should be willing to accept this through patient endurance as God may be using us as an example to reach others with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The book of Job goes into great detail as to the emotions that Job experienced over a considerable period of time. After all, Job was only a man. As the knowledge of the loss of his children sunk in, the physical affliction of his body continued, and the accusation of his friends mounted, you could say that he got down in the dumps so to speak. Job's friends believed that Job had sinned and that God was punishing Job for un-confessed sin. Job's friends questioned Job's integrity. After all is said and done. Even though Job doesn't fully comprehend what is going on in his life, God does and that is all that really matters. This awareness that God is in control allows us to patiently endure life's trials even though we may not understand the why.
One is Discipline
Hebrews 12
5 and you have forgotten the exhortation which is addressed to you as sons, "MY SON, DO NOT REGARD LIGHTLY THE DISCIPLINE OF THE LORD, NOR FAINT WHEN YOU ARE REPROVED BY HIM; 6 FOR THOSE WHOM THE LORD LOVES HE DISCIPLINES, AND HE SCOURGES EVERY SON WHOM HE RECEIVES." 7 It is for discipline that you endure; God deals with you as with sons; for what son is there whom his father does not discipline?
8 But if you are without discipline, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate children and not sons.
9 Furthermore, we had earthly fathers to discipline us, and we respected them; shall we not much rather be subject to the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness.
11 All discipline for the moment seems not to be joyful, but sorrowful; yet to those who have been trained by it, afterwards it yields the peaceful fruit of righteousness.
12 Therefore, strengthen the hands that are weak and the knees that are feeble,
13 and make straight paths for your feet, so that the limb which is lame may not be put out of joint, but rather be healed.
14 Pursue peace with all men, and the sanctification without which no one will see the Lord.
One is Trials
James 1 2 Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials,
3 knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance.
4 And let endurance have its perfect result, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
12 Blessed is a man who perseveres under trial; for once he has been approved, he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
2 Corinthians 13 11 Finally, brethren, rejoice, be made complete, be comforted, be like-minded, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you.

Remembrance
You can shed tears that he is gone, or you can smile because he has lived. You can close your eyes and pray that he'll come back, or you can open your eyes and see all he has left. Your heart can be empty because you can't see him, or you can be full of the love you shared. You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday, or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday. You can remember him and only that he's gone, or you can cherish his memory and let it live on. You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back, or you can do what he'd want:
Smile, Open Your Eyes, Love and Go On.

A Matter of Faith
Sometimes we find ourselves in a situation That seems to have no way out Where we once walked tall and sure We now stumble in doubt When fate delivers a swift and telling blow And you feel the hurt and despair That only a fallen man could know When you finally come to realize That you’re only just a man Close your eyes and don’t be afraid to cry Place your life in God’s hands Sometimes you must lose in order to gain There are no rainbows without the rain Know that when times are hard They will be not always So dream the impossible, defy the inevitable And know that you will see better days It’s just a matter of faith
The Poetry Man
During my fast the Lord put the idea to make a site for my dear friend who lost her daughter to DOMESTIC VIOLENCE. I have been working on her site....Her daughter kept journals and diaries and I can already see how the Lord is going to be using her through this site.
Evelynn Grace Smith July 13, 1984 – February 21, 2005 One of my dearest friends lost her lovely 20 year old daughter two years ago to a young man 19 years old who didn’t know how to cope with his emotions. Being that he was overly jealous, compulsive, and controlling, were there warning signs? Yes, many signs but we never want to think someone who loves us would really hurt us. Yet it happens everyday. Evelynn was a young lady with so much life and energy. She had big dreams of starting college. She was very health conscious and she loved to run. At one point in their relationship she drew up a contract and had him sign it just so she would be allowed to run, alone with other provisions. He wanted to keep her isolated and he didn’t want her to be around any of her friends. Her life ended tragically with knife wounds to her throat and cuts on the inside of her arms. But comfort has been given to those who loved Evelynn knowing she is in the hands of the Lord. Her life ended here but we know her life isn’t over. It is just the beginning of a greater life. See Evelynn died at a time when she had grown closer to the Lord than ever before. She was so excited about her relationship with the Lord and she desired to be with him, encouraging her mother to go to church with her which is exactly what they did. Evelynn was a smart young lady and she kept a journal, diary and several day planners. Inside her journal her mother learned much about what was going on in this relationship. This young man tried to make it look like they were going to commit suicide together because he put wounds on himself and told the detectives he was unsuccessful. However, there was much evidence to show otherwise. Her journal that she had been keeping for several years revealed how she had stayed in a shelter to get away from his abuse. She had pictures he had drawn that were quite scary. She met the young man in North Carolina but ended up leaving him and moving back to Washington. They continued talking on the phone and he convinced her things would be different. So she was planning to take him back. He caught a bus to Washington and she picked him up at the bus station. Then she took him to get a room at a motel. He was wearing a rosary around his neck at the time...After arriving at the motel a few hours later he took her life. He killed her in the bath tub and placed her nude body on the bed with her arms crossed. He laid a Spanish language Bible on top of her and then covered her with a blanket…Was this premeditated? I would say so… This young man was very insecure and this is a tragedy but as Christians we must forgive and this young man needs prayer along everyone else who was hurt in this situation. He took Eveylnn’s life but he hurt so many more, not only Evelynn’s family and friends but his own family…The Bible teaches we must forgive and love our enemies. Pray for them… Evelynn has an awesome mom. She is a wonderful person and a great friend. It took great courage for her to go and talk to the young man who took her daughter. When she spoke to him she tried to comfort him so she could learn what happened. My friend is very caring and forgiving. I met Kathy in a most unusual way. I placed an add in the newspaper for a vegetarian nanny and she answered it not because she was interested in the job but because she wanted to meet me. After we met we became the best of friends. That was 18 years ago. Evelynn and my daughter played together and they celebrated their birthday’s together (because their birthdays were two weeks apart). Evelynn was one year older than Dori but they got along really well… I remember every time Evelynn came over she never wanted to leave. She would always want to stay and keep playing….Kathy I love you, we will see Evelynn again and she lives in our hearts…..Love, Francine

David August 26, 1964 - August 14, 2001 David lived with Aids for 18 years in addition to his drug addiction of many years. He always thought the AIDS would kill him but with the medicines he was taking his TC count was undetectable. He couldn't stop using drugs no matter how hard he tried. Before he died he was in a assisted living place and was not using drugs. He looked so healthy just like in this picture. When he was ready to leave they wanted him to go to a half way house in a bad neighborhood. The night before he was going to leave he called his mom and asked if he could come back to live with her. She was scared but her heart told him YES....He was suppose to go to the hospital the next day to get his leg checked (he had broken his leg). Evidently he ran into someone who had drugs so David probably said, well, one more time. After he used the drugs he was walking towards the hospital, he fell to the ground and by the time the police arrived he had passed away. He took an overdose of crack and heroine. His Mom didn't find out until two days later, he had no ID on him except for his other brother's phone number in New York. His Mom only wished she could have been with him so that she could have held him and told him how much she loved him. He left behind a loving mother Judy, a sister Francine, and a brother Ralph. When you read this poem the reality of his addiction sinks in.
So now little man you're tired of grass, LSD, alcohol, cocaine and hash, When someone pretending to be a true friend, said let me introduce you to Mr. Heroine. I'm so very powerful, I'm sure you've been told, pound for pound more expensive than gold. I take you places that you have never been, rob you of your self-esteem then grin. You'll shoot me in your veins on a daily basis, as long as you have money you'll swear you're in an oasis. When your money runs out you'll sell all your things, then you'll even sell your mom's wedding ring. The vomit, the cramps, the withdrawal pains, can only be eased by my little white grains. I'm grown in fields and manufactured to taste, but I'm nothing more than poppy seed waste. You'll try to recover again and again, but you little man, I'm your biggest friend. You ingest me in your system once again, and it only gets worse, shoot me again. I'll take your mind, body, soul and heart, and then you'll be mine, till death do us part.

Depression and Trying to Keep Your Head Above the Water
Depression can leave you feeling like you are struggling to keep your head above the water. It feels like you are drowning and the fight is to pull your head up and get a few breaths so you can keep going. Depression makes you feel alone as if others can no way understand your feelings. If your depression continues there comes a time when you feel so tired you just want it to be over. What do you do? Maybe you have tried medication only to have side affects. Maybe you found someone to lean on, but I can tell you if we depend on another person for our happiness that relationship can end abruptly then you will be left with emptiness. Depression is becoming an epidemic and if we don't learn how to find healing it will swallow us up and there will be nothing left of us but a lifeless body. I think of Anna Nicole Smith and her pain.. The only sure way to find any comfort is by crying out to Jesus. This isn't something you can do once and expect to be cured of your pain.. This is something that must continue daily to fight this disease. I call it a disease because it makes us sick mentally and physically. If we form a special bond with the Lord no matter what happens you know you are never alone. He lives in you and your life will have a greater meaning because you will want to serve him and be pleasing to him…. I know the Lord allows me to go through these feelings so that by feeling the pain I can share what the Lord is showing me to help others. I know depression hurts and my heart goes out to all of you who are suffering with this pain… But I can tell you the Lord has a way of giving us comfort when we cry out to him…I know first hand. God Bless All Of you! Love, Francine

When Your Resources are Low Who Are You Going To Call?
"We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish," they answered. "Bring them here to me," he said. Matthew 14:17-18
Sometimes after reading the newspaper or watching the news on television we experience an intensely painful awareness of the enormity of the world's problems and the hopeless inadequacy of the resources available to solve these problems. During recovery we often experience these same feelings of helplessness and inadequacy. Our personal problems seem enormous. Our resources seem incredibly limited. Part of our denial comes from our desire to avoid recognizing that our personal problems are bigger than our personal resources. We will need resources more extensive than our own to make any progress in recovery.
Fortunately, God has a long and consistent history of working with people who have limited resources. It has been God's consistent pattern throughout the biblical record. God's preference is to bring strength out of weakness. The abundance which God brings from a few loaves and fishes is a clear sign of the surprising resource-full-ness of God. God does not seem to be at home among the well-nourished, the resourceful, the un-needy. In a reversal of all of our expectations, God comes to the needy and limited with invitations to participate in the Kingdom.
When we see how few loaves and fishes we have, we become convinced that our needs for nourishment will not be met. And we conclude that there will be nothing left over to share. But the hopelessly limited resources somehow turn into abundance when offered to God. There is enough for us and enough to share. Each day, one day at a time, God accepts our limited resources and surprises us with what can be done.
I am hungry, Lord. I have not been getting the nourishment I need. What I have is so limited. A few loaves. A few fish. There will not be enough to go around.
I cannot imagine what use they will be but I make my limited resources available to you. Accept my limited resources, Lord. I bring them to you for your blessing. Amen.

IF WE ALL COULD JUST OPEN OUR EYES
If we all could just open our eyes and see how fortunate we are and what a great blessing it is to have been born our attitudes would change. It really wouldn’t matter what happens to us in this life. We are only here for a season, our time is short. But this time is critical to our reward of eternal life. Now if you really open your eyes and you look at our planet and all the life it wholes, you would realize that we had a creator. There is no way all this came out of evolution. Our planet is so rare, there are many different things that have to be exactly right and they all had to come together in order to sustain life. I watched a DVD called “The Privileged Planet” and it shows much about the scientific facts that are necessity for life. It really makes you realized that it was designed by intelligence. Just like the design of our bodies. Each cell is like a little factory. It is amazing all that goes on inside of us. Now think about this, say this is the only planet (which I believe it is) with intellect life in the whole universe. Wow, that would make earth a pretty special place indeed. Now think about the chance that you were born in this big universe, pretty amazing. The Lord wants all of us to have Eternal Life. All we have to do is repent, except him and be baptized. God loved us so much that he gave his son as a sacrifice so we could have everlasting life. Is it really that hard to give up our wrong doings for a reward that is so awesome that our minds can’t even imagine. It takes faith (things not seen) and hope. So whatever happens here is ok as long as it is something that will help us reach our finale destination. All these hard aches and trials are nothing compared to the reward offered to us. It is a matter of endurance for Christ sake and by enduring it, it makes us worthy. All the Godly people spoken of in the bible went through great tribulation and they knew it would all be worth it because of the faith and hope of eternal life. I picture a life with God so wonderful, indescribable, a place I look forward too. I know the Holy Spirit will guide us if we ask him. I would love met all of you on the other side in the near future.
The bible says that “whatever is not from faith is sin (Romans 14:23). If we doubt, we are not obeying God. If we have faith we’re being obedient. Doubt comes from believing that God is not all-powerful. Don’t let your own lack of faith put a wall between you and God. Let it become an invitation to run to God in prayer asking him to increase your faith.
Lord, you have said in your word that you have “dealt to each one a measure of faith (Romans 12:3). I pray that you would take the faith you have planted in me and multiply it.
May the truth of your word be firmly established in my heart so that faith will grow daily and navigate my life. Help me to trust you, at all times as I look to you for truth, guidance, and transformation into your likeness.
I know that trusting in you is a choice I make. Enable me to make that choice. I pray that I will look to you for everything, knowing that I will never be without hope. May my faith be the “substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen” (Hebrews 11:1).
I pray I will have faith strong enough to lift me above my circumstances and limitations and instill in me the confidence of knowing that everything will work together for good (Romans 8:28).

I found these videos are quite interesting on creation.........
Dr. Kent Hovind is considered by many to be one of the foremost authorities on "Science and the Bible." He has debated evolutionists at many universities across America and is dedicated to the proclamation of factual, scientific evidence supporting the biblical record of creation and the history of the world. His fact-filled creation seminars are exciting and informative, causing even the most devout evolutionist to "sit up and take notice!" Through Dr. Hovind's seminars, Christians are encouraged in their faith and non-believers are seriously challenged to reconsider their beliefs!Dr. Kent Hovind lives in Florida. He earned his Masters (1988) and Doctorate (1991) degrees from Patriot University. His dissertation dealt with the subject of the effects of teaching evolution on the students in our public school system. A 20-year study of the creation/evolutionism subject led him to start Creation Science Evangelism in 1991. He now speaks over hundreds of times each year. He has participated in dozens of debates and has been on over 3500 radio and television talk shows.

I have met so many wonderful, caring friends. Let me say my love for the Lord has grown immensely. Everyday since Sammy took his life I have prayed harder than I had ever prayed before. It took the pain I was feeling to call out and ask the Lord to help me. He put it in my heart to make a Tribute to Sammy. I knew if I was hurting this bad I couldn't imagine the pain his family and close friends were feeling. I thought if this is what God wants me to do I will do it. As I started making the site I had no idea what I was doing. I had never even been on Myspace before. I continued praying everyday and asking the Holy Spirit to come into me and help guide me. I began to see the site come alive and each day step by step the Lord would show me things. I did encounter rejection for some and got discouraged. I would cry and pray asking the Lord to show me what he wanted me to do. I told him I truly want to please you Lord. Every time I would encounter a problem he would then inspire me to write what he had showed me through prayer. I was so amazed at how he took me step by step in making the site. I soon realized this was much greater than what I thought in the beginning. God showed me this site was going to be a place to help those hurting through his love. The whole site is what it is, because the Lord has been the one who has guided me through it. I don't want anyone to think I did it because I know without God this site would be nothing in comparison. But now comes the important message I want to put in your hearts. Every time I get on I ask the Lord to guide me in picking friends. I see I have all different kinds of people and I am sure God has reasons for that. But we are living in a time of great need and there are so many people hurting everyday. Everyday it seems to be growing with Satan on the prowl. He has given many of you trials and tribulations. But know with these come the blessing of God and they give you a platform to do God's work. He has been molding and planting seeds in you and he wants to use you for his purpose. If you feel God speaking to you, use what you have learned and when you start don't get discouraged. Believe me Satan will do whatever he can to stop you from doing the will of God. I know because it happened to me many times and I would get so upset. When this happens stop, go somewhere in private, and pray your heart out, believe me God will come with his glory and he will show you things. You will see amazing things happening. Remember the key to this being done right is letting the Spirit guide you. My space is a great place to do the work of God... I know many of you have already began this work and as friends we need to encourage one another and pray. Showing respect to those even it we don't agree, but praying God's work will be done. Remember we are to pray for the enemy, show love and compassion. God is the judge of all mankind....
God bless each one of you and I want to thank you for being a friend.
Testimonies Of God AT Work In My Life
Seeing the Signs
From day one I have seen how the The Holy Spirit has transformed this site into what it is today..Up to now the site has held Sammy's picture for us all to see. I always knew it needed to be him. Well, today the Holy Spirit let me know it was time for a change...It started with a simple comment from a friend..
Apr 5 2007 2:44P Just curious why do you have a white suit as your profile picture, any particular reason? Is that part of the tribute?
At first I didn't think to much about it, but then I started thinking maybe the Holy Spirit wanted me to make a change..I knew my picture wasn't the answer. I thought of a candle or angel. Then I began to pray and I asked the Lord give me a sign and let me know what he wanted..My son had just gotten home from school and I told him to go check the mail..I was still asking the Lord give me a sign..My son walked in with one piece of mail. That was very unusual because we always get more than that.. It was a card from my old friend of 27 years and as I read it I knew this is it..
The Lord wanted me to use the picture on the card for this site..What else amazed me was the fact that when I changed my default to the Thinking of You with the little bird the Sammy picture vanished. I had to reinstall it.. I begin to wonder if spammer's somehow had some kind of a link to the picture. I don't know how all that works but it was strange how it just disappeared.. I just know God is In Control of this site.
This was the answer to my prayer.
The Lord gives me something and allows me to add my personal touch.
The same way he has through the whole site. The Holy Spirit will guide me and correct me, but I am allowed to put in my personal touches and if it is something he doesn't want he always finds a way of letting me know..God is in control of this site and everything on it belongs to him. On my own I would never have been able to do any of this. What is so amazing is how he uses my friends to show me things with his perfect timing. Even when mistakes are made they allow me to learn from them.. It is always a win win with the Lord on your side. Even the bad things turn into something good.. I am seeing it day by day...
The Lord's Perfect Timing (My Own Story)
The Stress That Comes With Income Tax Preparation
First, I want to wish everyone a Happy Easter! This story is so amazing and the Lord has done this in my life to share it with you and show how he is listening to our prayers. He answers prayers with perfect timing and it is truly amazing. Coincidence or Our loving Lord?
How this hits home, the W2's and the 1099's with receipts is enough to make any one who knows little about preparation want to scream. LOL But the problem was much worst than that. My daughter wanted me to do her taxes for her. She put all her receipts, W2's, and 1099's in a nice large brown envelope addressed to me so I could have the pleasure of preparing her taxes. I would be lying if I said I was looking forward to doing it. Her mailing date was March 22, 2007. After a week went by I began to get uneasy wondering why I hadn't received her tax stuff..I kept saying things to my Hubby (who I might add had been with the Postal Service 25 years) about it. "Honey, Do you think it got lost in the mail?" He would say "No dear, the mail is backed up." Everyday I would let him know it still isn't here yet...After she mailed it I realized I should have told her to pay to have a confirmation tracking number. I should have told her to make copies of her stuff before placing it in the mail, but now it was to late. I knew we couldn't change what had already been done. Then came the worrying and thinking, what are we going to do if it is lost. My mind began playing all these things in my head, I began thinking of stuff, getting an extension on her taxes, her having to call and get copies of her w2's and another 1099. My daughter called me April 4, 2007 and said she had a few days off for Easter so she was going to drive down to see me. I thought what a blessing it would be if that tax stuff came in the mail. She arrived at my house on April 6, 2007 (Good Friday). Her, my younger son and I were out in the car driving when I told her we need to pray for your tax stuff to come in the mail while you are here in town. We began to pray about it and then went on with other things . Later when we arrived at home she said." Mom, I think it is here." See while driving up she saw a big brown envelope in the mail box (the door of our mailbox had been knocked out so you can see everything in it, which I know needs to be fixed). You have know idea how excited I was. I was saying "See how God hears our prayers". I was so excited and so happy it had finally arrived after 15 days.. My daughter and my 12 year old son had witnessed it . Again God had turned something bad into something good to show his glory and now I am sharing it with you. What is so amazing is with my last blog I just posted about "Seeing The Signs" was on Good Friday. Well, that letter that came from my friend lives in the same area as my daughter. The letter was postmarked April 3, 2007 and I received it April 5. 2007. It only took 2 days and it was the answer to another prayer I was praying about. Now this tax stuff takes 15 days coming from the exact same area and it answered another prayer.. But do you know this story isn't over yet because my daughter prayed if she should move 4 hours away from me to take a job and the Lord had let her know to do it. She ended up in the same apartment complex as my friend who mailed that letter and I thought this has to me more that a coincidence. I felt then the Lord was moving and there was a reason for all this.. My daughter was able to meet her for the first time and she took her some New Testament tapes and a cassette player so she could listen to God's word. Today is Easter and I could never have come up with anything better than what the Lord is doing in my Life.. God Bless All of You and Happy Easter and YES THE LORD HAS RISEN. I love you All! Francine
A little tidbit of wisdom the Lord has showed me. Before you do anything upon awakening from your sleep, give thanks to the Lord. Let him be your first and last thought of the day..Why do I say your day? Because many of you work nights so your day begins at night.
I am so glad the Lord gave me the wisdom to put all the pieces together and have such an awesome testimony for Easter. His timing was perfect.

Six Things Every Christian Should Know About Temptation
by Larry Arrowood
All Christians should understand the following six truths concerning temptations.
1. God does not tempt us. "Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man" (James 1:13). He wants us to be saved, and He wants to bless us.
2. In every temptation there will always be a way of escape. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1 Corinthians 10:13). Either we will be able to overcome the temptation or else God will prevent it from coming to us. God will not allow Satan to tempt us beyond our ability to overcome. Should we fail, the Lord will forgive us if we seek forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (I John 1:9).
3. Blessings will always follow trials. God will turn the hardship into something beneficial for us. "And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, and to them who are the called according to his purpose" (Romans 8:28). For example, if we are to teach others how to overcome, we must first overcome temptations ourselves. The Lord allowed Satan to tempt Job, but Job received twice the amount of blessings after his trial as he had before.
4. God sends trials to teach us to rely upon his power and to strengthen us in our Christian walk. The struggle required to overcome temptation is good for us. It is a necessary part of the normal process of maturing. Diamonds and graphite are composed of the same substance- carbon. The difference between the two is the molecular structure, which is determined by the amount of pressure applied to each. Diamonds have been exposed to a tremendous amount of pressure, but graphite has not. God may want us to be diamonds in His kingdom; if so, pressure must come.
5. Simply because we live in this world, trials and tribulations will inevitably come, whether we are Christians or not. We can either surrender to the devil and lose our souls or we can trust in the Lord for victory (1 Peter 5:8-10). Unquestionably, we should choose the latter alternative.
6. Temptation itself is not a sin. Jesus was tempted in all points as we are, yet without sin (Hebrews 4:15). Evil thoughts and sinful desires may knock at our heart's door but this is not sin in itself. These are temptations; these are normal life experiences. We do not commit sin unless we yield to these evil thoughts, whether by entertaining and enjoying them in the mind or by enacting them physically.
We should pray as the Lord taught: "Deliver us from evil" (Luke 11:4). Overcoming is not always easy, but it is always possible. We can be overcomers.

† Porn is a Serious Problem Even Among Christians
The Lord can heal you of it. It is a dirty little secret many Christians are hiding. If any of you have this problem check out this site and know there is hope. The Lord can heal you! The Internet has magnified this problem. Many hear about this in other Churches but fail to realize this problem is among people you may actually know. They are too ashamed to come out with it, but know there is help. Don't be afraid to get help before it destroys your life. I know the affects of it first hand my father was engulfed in it and it ended my first marriage. I found this site and it is a good place to start. † † †

Missing Pieces of your Heart! Well I am at Home here in Columbus, Kansas. I had the hardest time leaving St. Louis, Mo. without Dakota Helm my love of my life. But yet I am so blessed to have had Dakota in my life for he looked up to me, as I looked more up to him! He wanted to fight crime and fight fires and help people in some many ways. Before Dakota got the tube in his mouth Dakota asked me if his friends would be mad at him if he died or would they miss him! What I am saying we was Dakotas heart we gave Dakota heart. Dakota now has his new heart from YOU! As I told Dakota’s best friend here that told me they wanted to give their heart to Dakota so he could live. I answered you did! He Gathers Every Teardrop...
Regardless of the circumstance, Regardless of the fear, Regardless of the pain we bear, Regardless of the tear.
Our God is ever in control, Performing as He should, And He has promised in His Word To work things for our good.
But as a loving Father would, He sometimes lets us cry To cleanse the hurt out of our heart, To wash it from our eye.
Yet gently gathers the tears Within His hands to stay Until He turns them into pearls, and gives them back someday.

~Remember The Love I Gave~
Don't judge me for how I left this world, remember the love that I gave. A lot of grief will follow me, for the decision that I have made.
Changes appear in everyone's life, some good, some bad. The one that I chose for myself made everyone very sad.
But in time, memories will heal the hurt of hearts and my presence will be felt by all with an inner peace. Remember me when the sun is bright and laughter fills the air, and a moonlit night and whispers of wind will tell you that I am there.
Don't look down on my family or fill their hearts with blame. For my leaving them without good-byes, they will never be the same.
If I could go back in time, I say a last good-bye, I'd tell them to look to tomorrow and for me......do not cry......

Promise Yourself
Promise yourself to be strong that nothing can disturb your peace of mind.
To talk health, happiness and prosperity to every person you meet. To make all your friends feel that there is something in them.
To look at the sunny side of everything and make your optimism come true.
To think only the best, to work only for the best and expect only the best.
To be just as enthusiastic about the success of others as you are about your own.
To forget the mistakes of the past and press on to the greater achievements of the future.
To wear a cheerful countenance at all times and give every living creature you meet a smile.
To give so much time to the improvement of yourself that you have no time to criticize others.
To be too large for worry, too noble for anger, too strong for fear and too happy to permit the presence of trouble.

~When Life Becomes Too Much~
When life becomes too much to bear With only pain in sight... Some folks make the choice to die, By taking their own life. In just one moment, all is lost, And nothing can replace... The broken hearts of loved ones dear, Or the tears that stain their face.
Yet somehow they get through it, With the grace of God, they do... Time can heal the deepest wound, and bring new peace to you. You'll never know the reason
And it's not for you to say...
But God responds to every need; Just trust He'll make a way.

Steve Irwin 1962-2006
So many of us grew up watching Steve Irwin as the Crocodile Hunter.
His death is such a tragic loss.
He will be greatly missed by children and adults all over the world.
With his Australian accent and his zeal for life.
He was able to captivate each living creature's uniqueness
in a way that was entertaining and educational.
What a great way God used Steve to bring us up close to the animal kingdom.
Truly he has given the world a gift like no other and I thank him.
His legacy will live on for years to come.
My condolences go to his family and friends.
RIP Steve crikey mate
Please Don't Drink And Drive!
Think Before You Drink
The hurt, the misery, the agony, the pain It wasn't for naught, don't let the heartbreak be in vain
The comments and pics on myspace, the stories in the Toledo Blade Looking and wondering in disbelief, of what was the minivan made?
Stunned and shocked at all of the damage which their vehicle substained Distraught and heartbroken for the victims, whom as a result to rest were lain
A picture is worth a thousand words is how the saying goes Seeing the faces of the mother and children, touched many, only God knows
Their deaths just ohhh so senseless, that's what most do think Five precious lives lost instantly, because a young man choose to drink
Celebrating the holidays with his family, with 08 soon to begin Not thinking that his festive indulgence would result in a most tragic end
Its known that alcohol can blur one's vision and your judgement it will impair It'll make you say and do some things, which normally, you wouldn't dare
Like driving on the expressway late at night, headed in the wrong direction And crashing into a family loaded mini van, before your brain can made a correction
People tried to stop him at Taco Bell, where he stopped briefly after leaving the bar Brave citizens dutifully called 911, knowing this man shouldn't be driving a car
The police arrived at the scene within minutes, but the driver had already taken flight An irrational decision which he did make, on that cold, gloomy dreadful night
He drove a few miles down the road but still he didn't have a clue You shouldn't be driving towards other motorist, their headlights urgently dodging you
Frightened drivers swerving frantically, calling the police fast as they can To tell of a pick up truck being driven, by a confused and mixed up man
A loving family headed home after Christmas, having not long hugged their kin Who was to think that those warm "Goodbyes", would become treasured memories .. for hearts to mend?
Out of the blue the black truck appeared, in the dark of that fatal night The driver so consumed with alcohol, he didn't know which way was right
And then the unthinkable happened, like a moment in the twilight zone A desparate swerve trying to avoid the collision, in a blink - half the family was gone
The impact crushed the front of the van, the right side ripped totally away Mom fatally injured from the stabbing metal, helpless children thrown violently astray
What a horrible scene it must to have been, small bodies scattered about in the street And ohhh how ones' heart had to drop, seeing a newborn in a damaged carseat
Less than eight minutes, that's all that it took, from call one to this awful conclusion Four fatalities announced there on the scene, failed attempts to save the baby with contusions
Other family members - seriously injured, will recover from their physical pain But the scars left on the their broken hearts will forever and always remain
Shocked and anquished souls cry out, wanting to know the whats and the whys But its tough to hear the sought out answers through the much warranted heartfelt cries
The drunk driver received minor physical injuries, complaining of pain in the face and the jaw Oblivious to the fact that he had killed five people, or the price he'll pay for breaking the law
Treated and released from the hospital the next day, then booked into Lucas County Jail Five counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, his life is now a torturing living hell
This poem is a message to drinkers that drive, it should be one of driver's ed required reads Its not to pass judgement on the young man's action, for sure he'll pay dearly for his deeds
So please take heed to this sad, sad story, let it sink in your heart, mind and soul May it stir up your emotions and make you remember this event that is my one most wanted -desired goal
This statement won't sit right with all it hurts so much the way they went I'm sure most know within their heart, that homicide was not the man's intent
The hype that alcohol brings happiness and joy is the lie that advertisers give When indeed alcohol is a potent depressant, with remorseful pain he'll now have to live
My wish is that this poem reaches many, I'll be content if it change just a few If it prevents another tragedy such as this I'll feel I got my point through
So please think before you drink and then drive It can save you and others so much strife The world need to learn from this harsh wake up call Choosing sobriety can save someone's life.

People come into your life for a Reason, a Season, or a Lifetime.
When you know which one it is for a person, you will know what to do for that person.
When someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty., to provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically, emotionally, or spiritually. They may seem like a Godsend, and they are! They are there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrong doing on your part, or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die. Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand. What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire fulfilled; their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered, and now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has come to share, grow, or learn. They bring you an experience of peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it! It is real! But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons: things you must build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to accept the lesson, love the person, and put what you have learned to use in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love is blind but friendship is clairvoyant. Thank you for being a part of my life.

A little tribute true and tender, Just to show that we remember, Time may pass and fade away, But memories of you will always stay!

Sammy Lives On
Sammy helped me to see things more clearly. We can't always choose the situations that life brings us, but we can choose the attitude we will use to face them. The best way to stop worrying or to receive comfort is to start praying. But God may not give us comfort if it keeps us from doing what he wants us to do. Learn from the mistakes of others. We will never live long enough to make them all ourselves. Pray for people who dislike you. Whenever you feel insignificant, remember how important you are to God. Encourage each other and build each other up. A word spoken in anger cannot be erased. It plays over and over again. Walk on soles, not on souls. Be generous with praise and stingy with criticism. To belittle is to be little. And remember what happens in us is more important than what happens to us.
RIP Sammy we miss you more than you could have ever realized. You live on in our hearts and you will never die.

♥ KODA ♥
You know the Bible 100%!
Wow! You are awesome! You are a true Biblical scholar, not just a hearer but a personal reader! The books, the characters, the events, the verses - you know it all! You are fantastic!
It's one thing to know what is right, and another thing to do it.
If you want to know what is in your heart listen to your mouth.
People of integrity make an easy target for critics because they stand upright.
Be honest with yourself, with others, and with God.
Rest on God promises, stand behind yours.
If you agree to bury the hatchet, don't leave the handle sticking out.
God doesn't promise you a life without difficulties. But He does promise that He will always be with you.
God's comfort doesn't necessarily make you comfortable, but it will give you hope that tomorrow will be a better day.
One of the reasons God comforts us is so that we can comfort others.
Never attach strings to the comfort you give someone else.
Thank of your net worth as what you have given rather than what you have.
Give the gift of time it more valuable than money.
The measure of your success is not what is in your wallet but what is in your heart.
When you give, expect nothing in return.
Generosity does not include giving away something you'll never miss.
The generous person always has more than enough, the greedy person never has enough.
The greatest book ever written was the Bible. It teaches, corrects, and inspires.
King David wrote that the words of God are "more desirable than gold" and "sweeter than honey" Psalm 19:10. It is our guide for life.
One of the greatest lesson taught in the bible is to gain strength through your pain.
Grow through your grief as long as you know that your ability to overcome adversity is a blessing from God. Jesus defeated adversity once and for all. By embracing Jesus we defeat our adversity of sin and death.
In John 11:1-44 "The man who believes in me will live even though he dies, and anyone who is alive and believes in me will never die at all.
Remember each one of us is here for a purpose. He is the potter and we are the clay. He is molding each of us to be used for his purpose if you call on him.
Slow Down And Hear The Music
So when you hear that ring a ling, Just pretend that it is me! Calling to say I love you and, Soon I hope to see! ..When the day is done do you lie in your bed With the next hundred chores running through your head?
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last.
Ever told your child, we'll do it tomorrow? And in your haste, not see his sorrow? Ever lost touch, let a good friendship die Cause you never had time to call and say "Hi"?
You'd better slow down. Don't dance so fast. Time is short. The music won't last.
When you run so fast to get somewhere You miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day, It is like an unopened gift.... thrown away.

HOW TO PRAY
Pray with a sincere heart, make your words come from the depths of you. Remember you can pray without saying a word. Just thinking the thoughts, God hears you loud and clear.
First thank Jesus for giving his life to save ours and letting him know how much we love him.
Remember your friends and enemies and pray for them.
Give thanks for the good and the bad things in your life. You ask why the bad things? Because the bad things help us grow spiritually, they make us more appreciative and humble.
Ask for forgiveness of any sins you may have committed.
Ask for your temptations of sin to be taken away.
Ask for the special request, those things God says if you have faith of a mustard seed you can move a mountain.
Example ( I had a kitty for 19 years. I loved her so much. I have been praying for the Lord to give her eternal life. She was my little Angel on Earth.)
Ask for spiritual wisdom, so you can have a better understanding of God's will.
Ask for the Holy Spirit to live in you and guide you daily. Ask that the Holy Spirit pray for things that you may not even be aware of.
Ask Jesus to give you a heart that is pleasing to him.
Ask that the Body of Christ finds unity where we can all come together and division will cease.
Believe me He is always listening to our hearts ♥♥♥

To improve your ears, listen to the word of God. Rather than focus on the thorns of life, smell the roses and count your blessings, giving thanks for each one of them.
For poise, walk with knowledge and self-esteem.To strengthen your arms, hug at least 3 people a day. Touch someone with your love.
To strengthen your heart, forgive yourself and others. Don't worry and hurry so much.
Rather than walk this earth lightly, walk firmly with determination and leave your mark.
For the ultimate in business, casual or evening attire put on the robe of Christ; it fits like a glove but allows room for growth. Best of all, it never goes out of style and is appropriate for any occasion.
Doing these things on a daily basis will certainly make you a more beautiful person.

FOR THOSES NEEDING HELP (Some resources)
If you need someone to talk to, you can call this number to talk about any problem, anytime:
DO YOU WANT TO BE MADE WELL...We Just have to ask. James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.
John 5:6 When Jesus saw him lie, and knew that he had been now a long time in that case, he saith unto him, Wilt thou be made whole?
Jesus asked this man “Do you want to be made well?” Of course he did! Wouldn’t you? Why did Jesus ask a question like this when its answer was so clearly obvious? It seems the Lord wanted to hear him verbalize his need.
In the biography of George Mueller, a strong man of God who established orphanages throughout England in the 1800’s and raised the kids up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord, this amazing Saint relied upon God for every single need that he faced without making any financial appeals. He laid before the Lord every aspect of these orphanages. He prayed for the locations, the buildings, the furniture to fill them, the workers to run them, and everything else he could think of. When the first orphanage was ready, Mueller realized one major thing was lacking — orphans!! He forgot to ask the Lord to provide the orphans!
Sometimes the obvious things just smack us in the face, don’t they? On several ocassions, I’ve found myself in this very position! Silly me — I forgot to ask!
The Lord is asking us today, “Do you want to be made well?” Whether it be physical healing, spiritual, emotional or financial healing, no thing is too great or too small for our Lord! Perhaps we’ve just forgotten to ask Him!
Hoping that you had a fantastic Thanksgiving and had the chance to share it with friends, familly and loved ones. I spent the day alone,,,,, me and my two kids (the cats

The Lord spoke this to me one Thanksgiving a couple of yrs. ago. Happy Thanksgiving!
As I was sitting here thinking of all the things I was thankful for, I believe the Lord spoke and said. Have you ever asked me what I'm thankful for? I believe he said, I am thankful for my servants, who, through adversity, still worship me. I know and understand the difficulties that happen, because, remember, I was also tempted, in all points, as you have been. I am thankful for my children who overcome. I am thankful for those who have died for my kingdom. I am thankful for those who don't look to the things of this world, but have given themselves to me. I am thankful for your heart and your life that you have given to me. I cherish it above all else, for those whose hearts have been given to me, I will surely use in my kingdom. Maybe you can't cook. Maybe your rolls flopped today, when you wanted to make them special for your family. Maybe your pumpkin pie burned. Maybe you can't be in two places at one time. But I see your heart child, and I want you to know, that I love you with a love that is so indescribable, that you can't even fathom it. Yes, child, I am thankful for you. I pray and intercede for you. Nothing can take you out of my hand, because I clench my hand tight when the enemy comes and tries to steal you away. Worship me today!!! I am with you as you fill your plate. I am with you when you eat your turkey, mash potatoes, giblet gravy, dressing, olives, and green bean casserole, and Wal-Mart store-bought rolls. I am with you when you start on the dessert table. Oh, the pumpkin pies, and the pecan pies. Everything I make is good, don't you think!? I am with you as you sit around the table with those you love. I am with you when your heart breaks because there are some missing at that table. So, remember, as you enjoy today, I am there at your Thanksgiving meal with you. Observing and sharing today right beside you.
"Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, And for His wonderful works to the children of men! For He satisfies the longing soul, And fills the hungry soul with goodness." - Psalm 107:8-9
