the hook is primarily a high energy, feel-good vibe that takes audiences on a musical voyage, that they never knew they wanted to be a part of...among the styles of music that you can expect to hear at one of their shows are; blues, reggae, funk, bluegrass, as well as rock...their original compositions can contain any, or all of these styles. the cover songs that they do play, range from your favorite motown tunes, to your favorite MOE tunes.
since the band’s arrival on the central New York music scene, you may have found the Hook playing anywhere from Binghamton, to Albany, and even in New York City. they are collecting an ever-growing underground following, that transcends New York state, to the whole northeastern United States. they are scheduled to perform at multiple music festivals this summer; all of which, will have thousands of people in attendance.
The Hook is still a very young band, but they have had the pleasure of supporting national acts such a RAQ, THE BREAKFAST,RYAN MONTBLEAU, and BUDDAHOOD. and regional acts such as ESTHER MACOMB, SCHOOL BUS YELLOW,THE DAILY SUPPLEMENT, WRECKLOOSE, THE GIANT KILLER ROBOTS, and THE SECOND CLASS CITIZENS!
