Stolen Honor Video--Vietnam
Below--An Army Ranger speaks out on Iraq—How most of the soldiers really feel.
The man in this video is Sgt Vick. I was overcome by sadness the day I learned that he was killed in Iraq in 2007, after speaking the words in this video. I say this to Sgt. Vick—All of that was NOT “for nothin’”. You did NOT fail.
This is not my personal page but I owe it to you to tell you exactly who I am. First, I personally believe that the US military is the best thing that has ever happened to the human race since Jesus Christ. My name is Alex Slocum, I am 25, from Chelsea Michigan. I lost a good friend, LCPL Cliff R. Collinsworth in Ramadi, October 21 2006---And have many other friends who have served or continue to serve our nation. My Great Grandfather Stephen J Huszar was killed in the Army in Southern France, 1944. Both these men and all our soldiers are my heroes forever, and are my inspiration in life and for this page. I am studying political science and history, and when I finish at Michigan State University I plan to attend law school. Nothing is set in stone, but I intend to use every ounce of my ability to work through law, government, and politics as a career toward improving America as a nation and a people---and help create the better world that is possible for us all. I am not against the Iraq war, but I am against all those who mismanaged it so badly and turned it from a victory into an ongoing tragedy. I also believe there is hope; we can win, and we MUST win--we don't have the luxury of simply leaving this time as in Vietnam. And I don't want all the blood and pain to be in vain. I will tell you that I am a conservative, but I welcome all opinions and I am always growing intellectually and as an individual. I have a wide range of strong beliefs from both sides of the political aisle, and I suspect many of you as Americans are exactly the same. Every citizen of this country has the right to a voice and a view, and should feel free to express it here as long as care is taken to avoid offense.
You're so strange, people occasionally wonder if you're from another world. You don't try to be different, but you see most things from a very unique, very offbeat perspective. Brilliant to the point of genius, you definitely have some advanced intelligence going on. No matter what circles you travel in, you always feel like a stranger. And it's a feeling you've learned to like.
Your greatest power: Your superhuman brain
Your greatest weakness: Your lack of empathy - you just don't get humans
Honor and remember!! Please sign the petition~ 1.6 million living in honor of the 1.6 million who have fallen for this nation since its inception!!
Heroes
Jesus Christ of course is my hero. And the American soldier. In this life---many heroes occupy the number one spot on the list as people I truly worship. My Great Grandfather--PFC Stephen J Huszar killed in WWII, my grandparents who raised me, my good friend LCPL Cliff Collinsworth of Chelsea-killed in Ramadi...& many more.
All US soldiers and veterans will be my heroes forever; as I said-there is no higher class of human being that walks this earth.
My heroes are also anyone who struggles past hardship and pain that would more than kill most of us. So is everyone who works and fights to do what they know in their heart is right, and is right for the world. My heroes are also all those helpless and miserable who are oppressed anywhere in the world: Those who lift their eyes to the sky and pray that God bring from above a future worth living for....like it or not, it often arrives with the words "United States" painted on the side.

Whatever your politics, please support our troops and veterans! This site was created on (4/27/2007). I am not a soldier, but this page is dedicated to all service members---past, present, and future; to both the fighting and the fallen. And, to all their loved ones as well, and every patriotic American. There is no finer class of human being that walks this earth than the people who defend us. May we remember them always, and pray for their safety and their families.
I would also like to give a special shout to all our allies and international supporters. There are many nations that deserve our thanks--there are many who are our blood brothers in fighting the good fight. ALL SUPPORTERS are welcome here, and all I ask is that courtesy and respect be shown to all. And to the Lord, a special prayer; May Old Jack rest in peace, and may you grant your strength and mercy to Cathy of US Navy WWII Memorial, and Danny. Please bless and protect all of our troops and veterans, as they have so selflessly done for us. In Jesus' name, Amen.
THERE IS MEANING AND HOPE TO THE FIGHT YOU ARE IN, WE DO REMEMBER AND CARE ABOUT YOU ALL, WE SUPPORT YOU, AND WE ALL THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS!!! WE WILL NEVER FORGET ALL YOU HAVE DONE!! There are enormous numbers of us here at home; Republican, Democrat, or otherwise, who are PROUD to be American and DEEPLY GRATEFUL TO OUR SOLDIERS AND VETERANS FOR ALLOWING EVERY ONE OF US TO SLEEP UNDER THE BLANKET OF FREEDOM. GET BEHIND OUR TROOPS AND VETERANS, and God Bless America!!!

You Should Definitely Get a JD (Juris Doctor)
You're logical, utterly driven, and beyond ruthless.
You'd make one mighty fine lawyer, judge, or lawmaker! You may otherwise meet great joy and success as a prosecutor, diplomat, or historian.
HA!! I guess Poli Sci-Prelaw and History were good choices of majors then!!!--Maybe (hopefully) there's something to these little quizzes after all...lol.
Foreign policy hawks believe that the spread of liberty throughout the world is the historic mission of the United States, and that it is vital for our security. They can be found in both political parties, and are united in their desire for a large military and a highly assertive foreign policy.

To love someone Is to love that one To be with that someone You love... To take care of them To forgive them for what they did To be with that someone You love... To believe in their dreams As you believe in yours And that one you can always cherish This one you love Forget about control Forget about silence Remember and try not to change What could not be changed To love someone Is to be loved by someone Understanding and believing Are the reasons why You love... Time passes by so swiftly We forget what gets us by So to love someone Is a day to live by... A simple lesson in life This one we can learn today Just remember that loved one You may have let get away We are not individuals Though we think we live this way But that someone we always loved May have got away this day
To love someone...my oh my How that can get away? And how that someone May have made your day... To love someone Lies within one’s grasp And this loved one Believe me...will give you all Much more than you can ask To love someone May seem to be a simple thing So why not love that someone? Isn’t that something? To love someone May be sometimes hard to do But they always for some reason Love you back too Isn’t there something inside you That has you wanting and needing Something right in your life? And that’s to love someone? Yes, it may be sometimes hard to do But for whatever reasons They always love you back too...
