Ustr?ga is the duo of Paolo Guiducci and Ettore Pasquini. It was started the 8th of May 2005 at Paolo's place in Richmond, California. The only thing that was set down at the beginning was the dinner. It's curious to note that Paolo and Ettore grew up in the same region in Italy, 30 milometers away from each other, but never met. They met 8000+ miles away, in California.
The name ustr?ga is almost an Italian expression of surprise and astonishment. However the Italian expression doesn't come with a question mark inside it.
Our music is improvised and all live recorded on 2 tracks. No overdubs except where indicated.
Ustr?ga's first work is called rubbil, released in 2006.
Ustr?ga's second work is ongoing but we are thinking to call it pralnov.
