It has been brought to my attention if this is an "official" street team.
The answer, no, we are not official. In no way does the Utada Street Team claim to have any contact with Utada or her management. The Utada Street Team was formed and created out of the love for Utada and to help promote Utada in the U.S. That is our mission statement: to promote Utada, in anyway, in America.
As of right now the main purpose of the street team is to bring all its members the latest news on Utada in America, and to create a community of Utada fans that can share in their love for Utada and a way of networking with each other.

That is mission number one: To get as many Utada fans to join the street team, thus strengthening our voice and impact. Mission number two: sharing and collaborating ideas for Utada promotion. This is a team effort and it is up to the fans to help Utada gain success in America.
Thank you so much for the support you have all given the street team thus far. You cannot imagine how much this means. Thank you for the continued love and support that you have showed Utada through all these years. The street team maybe unofficial and small and new, but together we have the power to make it special and "official."
