Uter have been going as a solo project for Declan since 1999 but have now become a three piece with the inclusion of Martin and Marceline in 2004. There have been three Uter releases to date.

"Tomorrow's Clowns" - 12" single released in 2004 on OSCarr Records.
"Asking For Trouble" - Box set 2x7" split single released in 2004 on Asking For Trouble Records with other bands A Roman Scandal, Sunnyvale Noise Sub-element and Denim & Diamonds.

no, i don't think they have ever played in finland. they've been all over europe and in every other scandinavian country, but not finland, which is a shame because i think m.e.s would love it here. the beer is strong and nobody would bat an eyelid at his surly-ness. surliness. well, you know what i mean. maybe if is next wife is finnish they will play here. my friend nicola was at the gig on the 29th and her boyfriend gary was outside having a fag before it started and m.e.s walked past and gave him a big handshake and said 'alright?'. saw Spectrum last nite, he was ace! Let me ask if you've ever seen him and Nigel Havers in the same place at the same time? As actors go, Christopher Lee quite liking Faust is pretty cool, but Havers having succesfully moonlit as an underground dronelord takes the whole damn biscuit.
