Biography:
Utgard was started back in 1994 and made couple of demos in 1995 "Northern Glory" and 1997 "Nightly Verses". The music style on those demos was primitive Northern Black Metal. After those demos the band changed their name to Burialmound, and when Burialmound was left without a drummer, Utgard was reformed in 2005 and took some sessions to record it's debut album. UTGARD "Utgard" debut album was released by Mirgilus Siculorum as a cassette autumn 2006 and Die Todesrune Recors as a cd spring 2007. 2008 Utgard signed with Finnish label No Sign of Life and their 2nd album "Thrones and Dominions" was recorded. Also Compilation cd "Brethren of Wolves" was released by Witchhammer Productions, consisting band's first two demos, few new tracks and two live tracks from around 1996.
